Broken team folders after the recent update: Parent folder not in filecache for files

I use NC 33.0.6. After the last update of the Team Folders app to 21.0.10 it is not possible either to create or upload file there, the same about folders. The folder doesn't contain any files or folders anymore.

In the logs I see:

Trying to run sudo -u www-data php occ groupfolders:scan --all I am getting the error In Cache.php line 295: Parent folder not in filecache for versions .

The app is completely broken, it is not possible to downgrade it.

It is possible to downgrade

1. download the tar.gz file for the 22.0.3 from here https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/groupfolders
2. check the correct version for your nextcloud version
3. use occ app:disable groupfolders
4. use occ app:remove groupfolders
5. unpack your groupfolders app tar.gz file as "../groupfolders" to your nextcloud dir (e.g. /var/www/nextcloud/apps)
6. check that www-data is owner (chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/nextcloud/apps/groupfolders)
7. re-enable groupfolders app by ... occ app:enable groupfolders
8. check your app list ...occ app:list if groupfolders (22.0.3) is enabled and active again
9. !!!! never upgrade again to the now existing 22.0.4 version until the developers found the cause for the errors and deliver a repaired app version

And yes you are right: this update to 22.0.4 of the groupfolders app damaged everything in nextcloud if you are using teamfolders.
Very dangerous update with severe impact on productive systems!

In my case the occ app:update --all command also triggered groupfolders and this broke during upgrade process by hints to "missing trashbin files" - yes of course i have disabled the app files_trashbin and it wasn't obligatory for groupfolders in the past. If you testwise enable files_trashbin it was possible to install / update groupfolders 22.0.4 as well but with the effect that my logfile was flooding by groupfolders messages permission errors etc.
So have disabled files_trashbin again, reverted groupfolders app to 22.0.3 and can for now only updates app by app without using app:update --all.
