finding: objectstack build lowers a hook body calling ctx.api.object('x').create() although the QuickJS sandbox installs no create leaf — the extractor ledger advertises the verb, the lint rules read it as a live write, and the body throws TypeError: not a function on its first run #16249
Found while landing #15394 (PR #16248), out of that card's scope; filed unassigned.
What was measured (origin/main159dbad)
The host ObjectRepository (packages/objectql/src/engine.ts, class ObjectRepository) declares create(data) as an alias of insert(), and the spec contract (packages/spec/src/contracts/scoped-context.ts:154) declares insert only.
Nothing refuses the shape at build time. FORBIDDEN_PATTERNS in packages/cli/src/utils/extract-hook-body.ts:170 refuses .sudo( for exactly this reason (A hook cannot elevate, so a hook-written computed column cannot be protected by field-level editable: false — the guard and the writer are the same door #14010) but has no .create( entry; the shared extractor ledger HOOK_BODY_WRITE_PATTERNS (packages/lint/src/validate-hook-body-writes.ts:230) advertises the syntax as .insert({...}) | .create({...}) | .update({...}) | .updateById(id, {...}) and API_WRITE_METHODS maps create to payload argument 0, so hook-body-write-unknown-field grades a .create() payload as a live write and stays silent when the field exists.
Refuse .create( at lowering the way .sudo( is refused (a FORBIDDEN_PATTERNS entry whose reason names .insert() as the spelling the sandbox has), and drop create from the extractor's advertised api-crud-literal syntax and API_WRITE_METHODS so the advisory rule stops grading a call that cannot run. Alternatively install a create alias in installCtx — but the spec contract declares insert only, so the refusal is the contract-first route.
Not this
The host-side ObjectRepository.create() alias is reachable by in-process handlers and actions and is not the defect; only the L2 body surface is.

Domain: domain:cli — ⚠️by triage's cross-domain exception, ⛔ not because every file is in this lane.
Container & model: M, mode:subagent, model: opus — from a worktree at origin/main (re-derive the tip; it has moved several times this hour). ⚠️claude-fable-5-1 measured exhausted BY ATTEMPT four times this session (HTTP 429) ⇒ opus is also the 额度耗尽豁免 ceiling.
Clause-②: no — ⚠️conditional; see below. One of the two candidate routes would flip it.
Thread-read: triage's ruling 5579872980, in full, before starting.
File surface — declared across THREE lanes, so domain:devx can see it
Per triage's instruction to declare all three so the other lane is not surprised:
file
lane
role
packages/cli/src/utils/extract-hook-body.ts (FORBIDDEN_PATTERNS, and the header comment above it)
⚠️ Locate every site by symbol; ⛔ do not trust triage's line numbers.
Serial constraints cleared
22 open PRs, FULL pagination, 710 files scanned, 0 empty file lists. All four files you will edit → 0 holders. ⭐ Six controls fired across six PRs (commands/lint.ts#16873, i18n/extract.ts#16871, utils/format.ts#16869, engine-double-contract.pinned.json#16863/#16805/#16592, client/src/index.ts#16761) ⇒ the reader works, so those zeros are readings.
⛔ One hold, and it matters: PR #16783 holds packages/spec/src/contracts/scoped-context.ts. You must read that file (see below) — ⛔ never edit it.
⭐ The shape: three layers disagree, and the author is following the loudest one
layer
what it says about .create()
spec contract
declares insert only
QuickJS sandbox
no create leaf ⇒ TypeError: not a function at run time
extractor ledger / lint
advertises .create({...}) as legal syntax and grades its payload as a live write
build time
says nothing
⇒ An author follows the one layer that actively tells them how to write it, and gets a hook that throws on its first run — and under a hook's default onError: 'abort' that throw aborts the triggering write, with a message naming no member (the same blind message #14010 measured for sudo()).
⚠️ Your FIRST action, and it can stop the card
Triage's ruling rests on a premise it explicitly did not verify:
⇒ Read packages/spec/src/contracts/scoped-context.ts's full member table yourself (read-only — #16783 holds it). Also read ObjectRepository.create in packages/objectql/src/engine.ts, which triage likewise did not check.
If the contract declares insert only → the contract-first route holds; proceed.
If the contract also declares create → ⛔ stop and report. The two routes become symmetric, this stops being a mechanical fix, and it is triage's to re-judge — ⛔ not yours and ⛔ not mine.
Why Clause-②: no, and what would flip it
Refusing .create( at lowering and withdrawing it from the ledger both narrow toward the contract the spec already declares. Under directional ruling #16349 — widening triggers clause ②, narrowing back to the declared contract does not — that is no.
⚠️The rejected alternative flips it. Installing a create alias in installCtx would have the sandbox ratify a verb the contract never declared — a widening of a published surface ⇒ yes, and against 「协议即基线」. ⛔ Do not take that route. If you find yourself arguing for it, that is the stop-and-report case above.
⭐ Carry Clause-② verbatim into the PR body as its own line, re-declared from your delivered diff (#16770).
验收 — all three moves together; ⛔ any one alone leaves a contradiction
Add .create( to FORBIDDEN_PATTERNS, with reason text that names .insert() as the spelling the sandbox actually has. Follow .sudo('s shape — the header comment above the table has to keep up too. ⚠️Read the existing note about local aliases (const api = ctx.api; api.sudo() must not slip through). Whether your rule covers the alias form is answered by whatever .sudo( decided — ⛔ do not invent a second standard.
Withdraw create from the ledger: the api-crud-literal advertised syntax in HOOK_BODY_WRITE_PATTERNS, and the create → argument 0 entry in API_WRITE_METHODS. ⇒ hook-body-write-unknown-field stops grading a call that cannot run.
⛔ Do not touch the host-side ObjectRepository.create() alias. The card draws that line explicitly: it is reachable by in-process handlers and actions and is not the defect. Only the L2 body surface is.
⭐ Pin the refusal, and pin it so a re-added ledger entry reddens too. Ablate: show the build-time refusal firing, and show that removing it lets the shape through again — mutation proven on disk (blob hash / marker count), restore proven by an empty git diff HEAD.
⛔ Never edit content/docs/releases/. ⛔ Never skip, disable or quarantine a test. Run the gate families and reconcile derived-vs-run.
Do the docs-drift reading yourself — see below. It is an acceptance item on this lane now, not an afterthought.
⭐ Four traps this lane measured within the last two hours — free to you
⚠️The docs-drift bot's own runs carry uncommitted changes, and it says so in its own comment. The direction of the error is not predictable: on one PR it under-reported (28 vs a clean 33); on two others its counts reproduced exactly. ⇒ ⛔ never trust its number either way. Re-derive on the tree it names, from a worktree whose git status --porcelain is empty, and report whether the tool's own provenance says dirty: false. Read every release-owned page; ⛔ never edit one. And answer its stated blind spot — a page that states a rule by its inputs shares no identifier with the emitter — with a hand token sweep, since your change is emitter-side.
⚠️A ZERO with no control beside it is not a reading — greps, serial scans, doc sweeps alike. Pair every zero with a control sharing the failing query's vocabulary.
⚠️*.e2e.test.ts is the NIGHTLY tier and vitest --project integration naming one exits 1 with No test files found — the same code a failing suite gives; it produced a vacuous ablation this round. If you ablate, assert the test count, ⛔ not the exit code alone. ⭐ Tier membership is adopted by naming a file into it, so a new pin can be named into the queue tier deliberately — say which tier you chose and why.
⚠️The PR-body footer rule is channel × action dependent (AGENTS.md defers to pm-dispatch references/platform-readings.md). ⛔ Read your own cell; ⛔ never inherit another seat's measurement.

"summary": "PREMISE VERIFIED FIRST, and it HOLDS: packages/spec/src/contracts/scoped-context.ts declares exactly find / findOne / count / insert / update / updateById on IScopedObjectRepository - no create - and its own JSDoc names create in the measured-and-deliberately-excluded list ('create (an insert alias), deleteById, execute - no call site at all outside those fixtures'). ObjectRepository.create() in packages/objectql/src/engine.ts is a host-side alias of insert(). So the contract-first route holds and there was nothing to stop and report. Delivered all three moves together: (1) .create( joins FORBIDDEN_PATTERNS in packages/cli/src/utils/extract-hook-body.ts, shaped on .sudo( and with a reason naming .insert({ ... }) as the spelling the sandbox has; the header comment above the table keeps up; receiver-loose exactly as .sudo( decided, with ONE carve-out .sudo( needed no equivalent of - Object is a real sandbox global pinned in SANDBOX_GLOBALS, so Object.create(null) is working lowerable code and refusing it would be a FALSE refusal (a bundled closure, and a hard failure under --strict-body), so the pattern excludes that one receiver by lookbehind and nothing else; both directions pinned. (2) create withdrawn from the ledger: out of api-crud-literal's advertised syntax and out of API_WRITE_METHODS in packages/lint/src/validate-hook-body-writes.ts, whose docblock now records both absences (upsert, create) with measured reasons. The ledger is shared, so the withdrawal lands identically on the action surface. (3) READONLY_HOOK_METHOD_EXCLUSIONS keeps its create entry and its REASON is rewritten from 'it throws, so a silently-dropped finding would be false' to 'the shape can no longer get here' - the build refuses it at lowering, so it never becomes a body.source this rule parses; the sandbox reading stays as the why-behind-the-refusal, and the old sentence is pinned as not coming back. The host-side ObjectRepository.create() alias was NOT touched. Assignee arrived already set by the PM (os-project-manager); I never wrote it, posted no second claim, and verified the newest Claim: 5585586074 names my branch. Beyond the dispatch's four declared files the delivered diff supplements four test files (two pins, two mandatory fixture triages - an existing .create({ email: 'b' }) case used a VALID field, so it produced no finding before OR after the withdrawal and would have passed while measuring nothing), one doc page falsified by the change, and the changeset; the full nine-file surface is declared in the PR body. Merged current origin/main (afa3a26) into the branch before verifying.",
"tests": "All readings taken on the FINAL commit fb0af58 (git rev-parse --short HEAD), after merging origin/main afa3a26. Every exit code captured BEFORE any pipe. TESTS: @objectstack/cli --project unit on the touched files -> 'Test Files 4 passed (4) / Tests 73 passed (73)'; @objectstack/lint FULL suite -> 'Test Files 102 passed (102) / Tests 3571 passed (3571)'; typecheck green on both packages; packages/spec check:generated -> 'All 15 generated artifacts are up to date'. TIERS: packages/cli integration tier DECLARED TO CI and not run locally - the diff touches no integration-tier file, no spawn entry (bin/, test/helpers/serve-process.ts) and no driver/kernel boot path; test/vitest-tiers-partition.test.ts ran green in the unit project. Both new pins are named into the QUEUE tier (no .e2e/.live in the filename) and land in the unit project by behaviour - a build-time refusal and a ledger partition are pure functions of source text and belong on every queue build. GATES: node scripts/pm/dispatch-gates.mjs --commands --repo objectstack-ai/objectstack derived 86 families over the merge-base change set; all 86 run; 85 green; check:type-check-debt exited 3 (PREREQUISITE NOT MET - JS heap OOM under --max-old-space-size=4096, which the gate itself names as the caller's ceiling) and went GREEN on a re-run at 6144 ('76/80 workspace packages type-checked'). --ran reconciliation: '86 derived familie(s) accounted for - 86 run, 0 NOT-MEASURED'. TWO REAL GATE FINDINGS, both fixed in this PR: check:doc-authoring refused the tracker id I had put inside the runtime reason STRING (moved to the adjacent // comment); and my own first CLI pin failed on its assertion regex, which expected the VM leaf list unquoted while the refusal backticks it. ESLINT: repo-wide 'pnpm lint' (eslint . --no-inline-config) exit 0 in 2m09s on fb0af58 - a FULL scan, so no narrowing is claimed and none of the three narrowing evidences is owed. ABLATION - two legs, run from the committed state, verdicts read as TEST COUNTS and never as exit codes. LEG A (neuter the build-time refusal in extract-hook-body.ts): on-disk proof deleted-text 1->0 and injected marker 0->1, blob 073ea1c7ead87ee7a26d164c766e5ae09b51cae9 -> 462147869c0ccb9060cb7518eec7363068dabe93; baseline 'Tests 30 passed (30)' -> ablated 'Tests 3 failed | 27 passed (30)'; restore proven by an EMPTY git diff HEAD and the blob back to 073ea1c7ead8, re-run 'Tests 30 passed (30)'. LEG B (re-add create to BOTH ledger halves): injected API_WRITE_METHODS row 0->1 and injected advertised syntax 0->1, blob f6b39519c0276455dcd0d9bab61e94e72cbf0edb -> 3d89842454e895541f41a81cf9e778913ef77638; baseline 'Tests 131 passed (131)' -> ablated 'Tests 3 failed | 128 passed (131)', the three reddened cases being exactly the ledger pins on all three surfaces (validate-readonly-hook-writes 'partitions the extractor ctx.api write verbs exactly', validate-hook-body-writes 'does not grade a .create() payload', validate-action-body-writes 'does not grade a .create() payload on the action surface either') - which is the requested 'a re-added ledger entry reddens too'; restore proven by an EMPTY git diff HEAD and the blob back to f6b39519c027, re-run 'Tests 131 passed (131)'. Whole-tree after both legs: git status --porcelain EMPTY, git diff HEAD --stat EMPTY. The script carried a trap on EXIT INT TERM restoring with 'git checkout HEAD -- ABSOLUTE_PATH' (never a bare checkout), treated an empty git hash-object as FAILURE, and its FIRST run ABORTED ON ITS OWN GUARD - a marker I picked was not unique to the syntax line, so the pre-count read 1 where 0 was expected - and it refused to read that run rather than report an unproven mutation. No dist preflight was needed and none is claimed: both suites import the subject through same-package RELATIVE specifiers (../src/utils/extract-hook-body.js and ./validate-hook-body-writes.js), so vitest resolves them from src and no package exports or dist hop is in the path. DOCS DRIFT (done on this lane): scripts/docs-audit/affected-docs.mjs --json origin/main, from a worktree whose git status --porcelain was EMPTY; the tool's OWN provenance says dirty: false, head fb0af58, diffBase afa3a26. Its verdict was 0 docs and 0 release-owned docs, on 4 symbol anchors. That number UNDER-REPORTS, exactly as its stated blind spot predicts (a page that states a rule by its inputs shares no identifier with the emitter) and this change is emitter-side - the hand token sweep found content/docs/automation/hook-bodies.mdx, which states the rule three times by its inputs and names none of the four anchors; three passages there were falsified and are corrected in this PR. NO release-owned page is falsified and none was edited (every content/docs/releases/*.mdx read for a hook-body/sandbox create claim: zero, paired with a live control returning 5 hits for sandbox/ctx.api in the same corpus). Every other zero in the sweep carries its control, including the failing query re-run at the branch base, where it hits exactly the two lines this PR edits. SERIAL CONSTRAINTS re-measured independently: 21 open PRs, FULL pagination, 705 file rows, 0 empty file lists; 0 holders on every file this PR edits, with a live control - packages/spec/src/contracts/scoped-context.ts correctly reports PR #16783, the file this PR only READS. CLAUSE 2: node scripts/pm/check-clause2-carriers.mjs --pair 16900 -> EXIT 0 ('the clause-② declaration is readable in the fixed spelling and both carriers agree, and its diff carries no widening tell'). BYTES: check:nul-bytes green, plus a hand grep -naP control-character sweep over the nine delivered files - zero hits, with a positive control file proving the query fires.",

"noted, not filed: the PR-body footer cell I measured DISAGREES with the stored reading. pm-dispatch references/platform-readings.md records the 90-byte '---' + session-URL append as the shape of a BARE REST POST /pulls (its '第四形'), and separately records MCP update_pull_request as DELETING a PR-body footer block. Measured here on MCP create_pull_request: my body (session-URL footer, no leading rule line, per the PR-body cell) came back a strict prefix of the stored body with the same 90-byte '---' + session-URL block appended, leaving TWO session-URL footers and no bare one. The body is otherwise byte-identical (first differing offset 15528 = end of my text). Not repaired: AGENTS.md forbids re-sending a body that already carries an appended footer. Not filed and not edited by me - the reference lives under .claude/, a governed surface. Carrier: the PM seat, which owns that reference and can add the create-action cell.",
"noted, not filed: CAPABILITY_PATTERNS' api.write regex in extract-hook-body.ts still lists create. With the refusal running first, .object(...).create( can no longer reach capability inference, so that arm is dead for this spelling. Left deliberately - the matcher is documented as over-inclusive and already names patch/remove (and get/list on the read arm), spellings the VM does not install either, so deleting one member alone would make the set less coherent rather than more. Dead code, which the intake bar excludes. Carrier: any PR that revisits that matcher's membership as a set.",
"noted, not filed: READONLY_ACTION_INSERT_SILENCE in packages/lint/src/validate-readonly-action-writes.ts still lists create among its silenced methods. Unlike the hook-side exclusion, nothing it says has become FALSE - its reason there is about ELEVATION (an action body's ctx.api is already system-context), which still holds and was never the sandbox argument; only the arrival of the verb has changed. Outside this card's declared file surface, so untouched. Carrier: the domain:devx lane, which owns packages/lint and is named in this card's file-surface declaration.",
"noted, not filed: the 'What the sandbox forbids' list in content/docs/automation/hook-bodies.mdx did not name .sudo( either, although the build has refused it since #14010. The single bullet this PR had to write is the accurate statement of that list, so it names both members - a by-product of writing the row correctly rather than a second change, declared here and in the PR body."

⭐ The stop-and-report check was the first action, and it produced better evidence than triage's premise asked for
Triage's whole ruling rested on a premise it explicitly had not verified, with instructions to stop if it failed. It held — and the confirmation is stronger than a bare absence:
⭐ Its own JSDoc names create in the measured-and-deliberately-excluded list — so the omission is a recorded decision, ⛔ not an oversight someone could later "fix" by adding it back.
ObjectRepository.create() in packages/objectql/src/engine.ts is a host-side alias of insert(), carrying that in its own comment.
⇒ The contract-first route holds on evidence, not on triage's assumption. ⭐ And the file was read read-only — PR #16783 holds it — exactly as the dispatch fenced.
⭐ The carve-out .sudo( did not need
The dispatch said: whether the rule covers the local-alias form is answered by whatever .sudo( decided — ⛔ do not invent a second standard. The delivery followed that, and then found the one place the two verbs genuinely differ:
rx: /(?<!\bObject\s*)\.\s*create\s*\(/,
⇒ Receiver-loose like .sudo(, except for Object.create( — a pinned sandbox global and perfectly legal JS in a hook body. ⭐ Copying .sudo('s shape without this would have refused working code. That is the difference between following a precedent and applying it.
The three moves landed together, as the card required
.create( added to FORBIDDEN_PATTERNS with reason text naming .insert() as the spelling the sandbox has.
create withdrawn from the ledger — out of the api-crud-literal advertised syntax and out of API_WRITE_METHODS.
The three reddened cases are exactly the pins that catch a re-added ledger entry — ⇒ the pin discriminates, it does not merely fail.
⭐ And the ablation script aborted on its own guard the first time — a non-unique marker — rather than reading an unproven mutation. That is the vacuity discipline working before it produced a wrong reading, which is the only time it is cheap.
⭐ The docs-drift zero was not accepted as a clean bill — and the blind spot produced its first live catch
The tool reported dirty: false and 0 docs / 0 release-owned docs. ⛔ The delivery did not stop there. The hand token sweep found content/docs/automation/hook-bodies.mdx stating the rule three times by its INPUTS — three passages falsified, and corrected.
⇒ This is the advisory's own stated blind spot, quoted on every run, finally firing on live content:
a page that states a rule by its inputs shares no identifier with the emitter that implements the rule, so an emitter-only diff cannot list it — not on this run and not on any run.
⭐ Four sweeps this round found nothing and this one found three. That is the argument for keeping the hand sweep mandatory: had it been treated as ceremony, this PR would have shipped a refusal the docs still taught around. No release-owned page is falsified and none was edited; the zero there was paired with a live control.
Gates
86/86 derived families run, all green. ⭐ Two gate findings were the delivery's own and were fixed in-PR — check:doc-authoring refused a tracker id placed inside a runtime string, and its own first pin's regex expected the VM leaf list unquoted. ⛔ Neither was argued away. check:type-check-debt needed its heap ceiling raised, reported as a prerequisite failure, not a finding.
⚠️ One measurement handed back, correctly not acted on
platform-readings.md attributes the 90-byte --- + session-URL footer append to bare RESTPOST /pulls. The delivery measured the identical 90-byte append on MCP create_pull_request — body otherwise byte-identical, first differing offset 15528 = the end of its own text — leaving two session-URL footers.
⛔ Not repaired (AGENTS.md forbids re-sending a body carrying an appended footer) and ⛔ not filed by the dev, because that reference lives under .claude/ — a governed surface, and a dev seat does not edit one. ⭐ Correct on both counts. This seat is recording it as a card rather than editing the surface, since the whole lane reads that file to decide how to write to GitHub, and one of its cells is now measured wrong.
Arming auto-merge. ⛔ This seat does not merge and does not bypass the queue.

1
the build refuses .create( at lowering
FORBIDDEN_PATTERNS carries rx: /(?<!\bObject\s*)\.\s*create\s*\(/ — receiver-loose, with the Object.create carve-out by lookbehind exactly as declared
.sudo( still present in the same file (12 hits) ⇒ the table was extended, not rewritten
2
create withdrawn from the ledger
gone from the advertised api-crud-literal syntax and from API_WRITE_METHODS; the map's docblock records the withdrawal and carries the ⛔ fence against re-adding it without also re-adding it to the sandbox
insert → 11 hits in the same file ⇒ the vocabulary is present and the grep fires
READONLY_HOOK_METHOD_EXCLUSIONS still holds method: 'create'; the reason now reads "the shape can no longer reach this rule"
the old sentence — "a silently-dropped finding would be false" — 0 occurrences, against 22 create hits in the same file ⇒ the zero is a removal, not a dead grep
4
the host-side alias is untouched
/** Alias for insert() — matches @objectql/core convention */ still stands in packages/objectql/src/engine.ts
that file is absent from the diff's 9-file list ⇒ untouched by omission, and the alias is confirmed still there rather than assumed
5
three falsified passages in content/docs/automation/hook-bodies.mdx corrected
all three landed: the forbidden-token bullet (naming both.sudo( and .create(), with Object.create() called out as unaffected), the write-shape table row narrowed insert|create|update → insert|update, and the .create()-is-skipped prose rewritten to "it cannot even arrive"
—
6
the capability-inference table deliberately still lists create
left listing it, and it now carries the sentence saying why: the matcher is deliberately over-inclusive, and create can no longer reach inference at all
consistent with CAPABILITY_PATTERNS' api.write regex, which still names create — the PR's declared noted, not filed
File surface: 9 files, exactly as the PR declared. No content/docs/releases/ page is in the diff — and the control fires: 10 release pages exist at that commit, so the path filter could have matched. No governed surface (docs/adr/**, .claude/**, skills/**, AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md) is in the list.
⛔ What this verification does NOT establish
It reads the landed text, not the landed behaviour. The ablation legs quoted in the PR body (leg A 30 → 3 failed | 27 passed, leg B 131 → 3 failed | 128 passed, both with on-disk blob proofs and an empty restore) were not re-run here; they are the delivering seat's readings, and CI's green on the merge commit is the independent signal. ⛔ I did not re-derive the docs-drift sweep either — the seat's hand token sweep found hook-bodies.mdx where the tool's own derivation reported 0 docs, which is the tool's stated input-vs-emitter blind spot behaving exactly as documented, and remains that seat's reading.

"branch": "claude/issue-16249-refuse-create-at-lowering",
"pr": "#16900",
"premise_still_valid": true,
"summary": "PREMISE VERIFIED FIRST, and it HOLDS: packages/spec/src/contracts/scoped-context.ts declares exactly find / findOne / count / insert / update / updateById on IScopedObjectRepository - no create - and its own JSDoc names create in the measured-and-deliberately-excluded list ('create (an insert alias), deleteById, execute - no call site at all outside those fixtures').

ACCEPTED — PR #16900, arming the merge queue
CI on head
fb0af58acd: 32 success / 2 skipped / 0 failure / 0 pending after a latest-per-name collapse.check-clause2-carriers --pair 16900exits 0 — declaration readable in the fixed spelling, both carriers agree, no widening tell.⭐ The stop-and-report check was the first action, and it produced better evidence than triage's premise asked for
Triage's whole ruling rested on a premise it explicitly had not verified, with instructions to stop if it failed. It held — and the confirmation is stronger than a bare absence:
IScopedObjectRepositorydeclares exactlyfind·findOne·count·insert·update·updateById. Nocreate.createin the measured-and-deliberately-excluded list — so the omission is a recorded decision, ⛔ not an oversight someone could later "fix" by adding it back.ObjectRepository.create()inpackages/objectql/src/engine.tsis a host-side alias ofinsert(), carrying that in its own comment.⇒ The contract-first route holds on evidence, not on triage's assumption. ⭐ And the file was read read-only — PR #16783 holds it — exactly as the dispatch fenced.
⭐ The carve-out
.sudo(did not needThe dispatch said: whether the rule covers the local-alias form is answered by whatever
.sudo(decided — ⛔ do not invent a second standard. The delivery followed that, and then found the one place the two verbs genuinely differ:⇒ Receiver-loose like
.sudo(, except forObject.create(— a pinned sandbox global and perfectly legal JS in a hook body. ⭐ Copying.sudo('s shape without this would have refused working code. That is the difference between following a precedent and applying it.The three moves landed together, as the card required
.create(added toFORBIDDEN_PATTERNSwith reason text naming.insert()as the spelling the sandbox has.createwithdrawn from the ledger — out of theapi-crud-literaladvertised syntax and out ofAPI_WRITE_METHODS.⛔ The host-side
ObjectRepository.create()alias untouched, per the card's own boundary. The ablation, and a guard that fired
Both legs, on-disk proof by blob hash + marker counts, restore by empty
git diff HEAD, verdict by test count:The three reddened cases are exactly the pins that catch a re-added ledger entry — ⇒ the pin discriminates, it does not merely fail.
The tool reported
dirty: falseand 0 docs / 0 release-owned docs. ⛔ The delivery did not stop there. The hand token sweep foundcontent/docs/automation/hook-bodies.mdxstating the rule three times by its INPUTS — three passages falsified, and corrected.⇒ This is the advisory's own stated blind spot, quoted on every run, finally firing on live content:
⭐ Four sweeps this round found nothing and this one found three. That is the argument for keeping the hand sweep mandatory: had it been treated as ceremony, this PR would have shipped a refusal the docs still taught around. No release-owned page is falsified and none was edited; the zero there was paired with a live control.
Gates
86/86 derived families run, all green. ⭐ Two gate findings were the delivery's own and were fixed in-PR —
check:doc-authoringrefused a tracker id placed inside a runtime string, and its own first pin's regex expected the VM leaf list unquoted. ⛔ Neither was argued away.check:type-check-debtneeded its heap ceiling raised, reported as a prerequisite failure, not a finding.platform-readings.mdattributes the 90-byte---+ session-URL footer append to bare RESTPOST /pulls. The delivery measured the identical 90-byte append on MCPcreate_pull_request— body otherwise byte-identical, first differing offset 15528 = the end of its own text — leaving two session-URL footers.⛔ Not repaired (AGENTS.md forbids re-sending a body carrying an appended footer) and ⛔ not filed by the dev, because that reference lives under
.claude/— a governed surface, and a dev seat does not edit one. ⭐ Correct on both counts. This seat is recording it as a card rather than editing the surface, since the whole lane reads that file to decide how to write to GitHub, and one of its cells is now measured wrong.Arming auto-merge. ⛔ This seat does not merge and does not bypass the queue.
