Description

@objectstack-fleet

Second-round 18.0 release-sweep re-test (maintainer-approved re-test on the release candidate; round 1 at 5b14b7f3, anchor #24579). This item was re-driven because #24532 (ba4afcc) changed the console build and injection scripts that produce the @objectstack/console bundle a fresh scaffold installs.

Environment fingerprint

  • framework ba4afcc2391922a86678bf5e47b1a0e4d2c87ff1; .objectui-sha 4016370af3c9c9dafec2bc5299afd8e8079701b8; console built this round (pnpm objectui:build, with the fix(release): judge a .objectstack-sha console bundle against objectui's own build of that commit #24532 reference build of objectui's .objectstack-sha 2c9bf9430a11)
  • path taken: pre-release variant (the candidate is unpublished). 73 public workspace packages were packed at ba4afcc (pnpm pack, scripts off) and published only to a localhost verdaccio 6 (127.0.0.1:47431) with no uplink for @objectstack/* or create-objectstack. The scaffold ran this checkout's bin: node packages/create-objectstack/bin/create-objectstack.js qa-console-first-paint (no -t), with npm_config_registry pointed at that registry.
  • provenance: the scaffold's pnpm-lock.yaml has 60 of 60 @objectstack/* integrities equal to the local tarballs (including @objectstack/console). The installed console's dist/.objectui-sha is 4016370a..., and its dist/index.html is byte-identical to this round's packages/console/dist build.
  • ports 47441 (npm run dev) and 47442 (os dev --ui), each with OS_PORT exported; 2026-10-19 14:44Z to 15:00Z
  • sequential, one runner

Scope

  • selector cli.scaffold-console-first-paint, revision 4. Judged 1 of 1.

Per-clause verdicts

clause verdict oracle evidence (text)
scaffold precondition held exit 0; pnpm install; skills installed from @objectstack/skills@18.0.0-next.5
acceptance[0] npx os validate pass exit 0 (1 object, 2 fields, 0 apps)
acceptance[1] console paints under os dev --ui pass npx os dev --ui -p 47442: the serve child argv is serve --dev --port 47442 --ui; GET /_console/ 200 text/html 18301 bytes; headless Chromium renders the sign-in card at /_console/login, 0 page errors
acceptance[2] npm run dev serves with no extra flag pass npm run dev -- -p 47441 runs objectstack dev -p 47441; the serve child argv is serve --dev --port with no --ui; /_console/ 200, 18301 bytes, byte-identical to the --ui shell
acceptance[3] newcomer visual check pass form sign-in with admin@objectos.ai / admin123 (printed by the banner) reaches /_console/home, which renders "Good afternoon, Dev Admin." with 0 apps; in-page POST /api/v1/data/qa_console_first_pai_note {title} 201 and GET by id 200, the title round-trips. The action/nav half is not applicable on a blank scaffold, as the clause states.
negatives hold no 404, no blank page, the two invocations agree, validate is green

Derived item verdict: PASS (round 1 #24551: PASS, unchanged).

Checklist-accuracy findings / fixture gaps

  • Step 1 says to use cli.scaffold-first-run's pre-release variant for an unreleased candidate, but neither item says that a verdaccio has to be installed (it is not in the image; npm i verdaccio@6 into a scratch dir works). Worth one line in fixtures.requires.

Handover
