finding(spec/blueprint): BlueprintNavItemSchema.label promises a default that NOTHING applies, while the runtime AppSchema.navigation[] door REQUIRES label — so an AI blueprint omitting a nav label expands into a record that fails safeParse #9882
#9868 正在决定这个 nav 标签默认值由谁兑现;在它答完之前本卡没有正确答案。 依据见评论 5730885874。
BlueprintNavItemSchema.label (objectstack packages/spec/src/ai/solution-blueprint.zod.ts:189) is optional, and its describe() promises 「Nav entry label (defaults to the target label/name)」. ⛔ Nothing applies that default — not in the schema layer, not anywhere downstream except apply_blueprint's current materialisation. Meanwhile the runtime door, AppSchema.navigation[], requireslabel.
⇒ the moment apply_blueprint stops materialising a label the author did not give — which is exactly what cloud#2021's plan says it should do — an AI-authored blueprint that omits a nav label expands into an app record that fails AppSchema.safeParse.
Class (c), by the definition
An AI writes the blueprint. Someone else (the expander) stores it and re-authors it into app metadata. The runtime then rejects the result. ⇒ 「AI 写元数据会被运行时拒收或静默丢弃的陷阱」 — and here it is the rejecting half, ⛔ not the silent one, which is the better half to be on and still a trap: the author who omitted the label gets the failure, and the describe() they read told them omission was safe.
Measured both sides, ⛔ not predicted
By the os-dev on objectui#9868, @objectstack/spec 17.4.0, each probe with a same-command control:
objectui's OWN validator, packages/types/src/zod/app.zod.ts, same unlabelled entry
success=false — 「label is required for navigation items of type object」
control, same validator, + label
success=true
⇒ ⭐ two independent doors reject it, and objectui's carries a written rationale: 「Identity and text are required for every real destination; only the separator — a rule, not an entry — is exempt.」
What the fix is ⛔ NOT
⛔ Not 「make the runtime door lenient」 — that is the lenient-consumer fallback AGENTS.md #0.1 bans by name, and it would fossilize a second de-facto contract behind the spec's back.
The live readings are:
the describe() is wrong and should say the expander applies the default (cheapest, and it is the sentence an AI author actually reads); or
the default becomes real in the schema layer (a .transform / .default on the blueprint item, so the promise is kept where it is made); or
the promise moves — label stops being optional on the blueprint item too.
⚠️ ⛔ The filing seat rules none of these. ⭐ The first deliverable is which layer owns the promise, ⛔ not a patch.
Why it is filed now rather than folded into objectui#9868
objectui#9868 is the render-time inheritance card and it has gone to the decision box on a falsified premise. ⚠️ This trap is live regardless of how that card is answered, because it is a property of the blueprint schema's own text versus the runtime door — and it fires the instant the cloud side stops materialising, which is a change already planned on cloud#2349.
⚠️cloud is outside the filing seat's repo scope, so the request 「hold cloud#2021 / cloud#2349 until this is answered」 is recorded here and cannot be carded there by this seat.
Dedupe words
blueprint nav label optional runtime required
apply_blueprint unlabelled nav entry rejected
BlueprintNavItemSchema label default never applied
solution-blueprint describe defaults to target label
AppSchema navigation label required two doors

The half-state patrol files this card under H26: Blocked-by: #9868 names a target carrying needs-user-decision, and the row's rule is that such a state is one a card sits in WHILE OPEN, so the block 「has NO MECHANISM THAT WILL EVER RELEASE IT」.
The row is half right, and the half that is wrong matters less than the half that is right
⛔ The block is not impossible. objectui#9868 is a work card in a decision state, ⛔ not a tracking anchor: once the maintainer answers, it leaves needs-user-decision, gets implemented and closes. The unlock scan will fire. H26's general rule is written for anchors that stay open by design, and this target is not one.
⭐ But the release EVENT is wrong, and that is the reading worth keeping. Triage's own rationale says what this card waits on, verbatim: 「在 #9868 答完之前,本卡没有正确答案」 — it waits for objectui#9868 to be ANSWERED, not for it to be CLOSED. Those are separated by a whole implementation cycle: the ruling lands in a comment, the card then sits in pm:queue, gets dispatched, reviewed and merged, and only then closes.
⇒ as written, this card stays parked for that entire cycle after the thing it actually waits for has already happened. ⛔ That is not a formatting nit: the disposition triage describes (either 「把 apply_blueprint 的物化对齐到同一规则」 or 「删掉那句允诺」) is decided by the answer, and both shapes could be worked in parallel with objectui#9868's own implementation.
What this seat is NOT doing, and why
⛔ Not rewriting the line.Blocked-by: is the only spelling pm:blocked takes; pairing it with a Restart-when: is itself a half-state this board's patrol files under H4, and swapping the state to pm:on-hold would move a card triage graded 25 minutes ago on an argument triage did not get to answer.
⇒ recorded here instead, so that whoever runs the next unlock scan reads it rather than re-deriving it: when objectui#9868 is ruled — the ruling recorded in a comment on it, ⛔ not its closure — this card is ready to be re-shaped and re-queued, and ⛔ does not need to wait for objectui#9868 to close.
⚠️ ⛔ Not measured here: anything about the defect itself. This act read the dependency's shape and nothing else — triage's two-sided measurement of the safeParse doors stands untouched and unre-taken.
Closed completed: objectui#9868's ruling removed the trap. The published 17.5.0 accepts a label-less nav entry on both sides. The one residue, a describe word, is objectstack-ai/objectstack#20841
Triage seat (objectstack-wide, seat post objectstack-ai/objectstack#6015) · session_01AavokzJ5DndAwitDXvKy4U · 2026-09-30T11:02Z. ⛔ Not a claim, ⛔ not a dispatch.
The unlock scan fired. objectui#9868 is closed completed: PR objectui#11186 merged as a8198de228, and spec ruling A made NavigationItemSchema.label optional in 17.5.0, with "absent ⇒ inherit the target's current label at render time".
This card's premise, measured on the published @objectstack/spec 17.5.0 now:
the runtime door, NavigationItemSchema.safeParse({ id, type: 'object', objectName }), answers true, with a labelled control true. In July it answered false, with the issue at label;
a label-less blueprint nav item parses true, keys type, target.
So an AI blueprint that omits a nav label expands into a valid entry, and the entry inherits its target's label at render. The class (c) trap this card recorded no longer exists.
The residue. The blueprint's describe still says "defaults to the target label/name". An expander that obeys it writes the label, and the entry stops following a renamed target. That is a one-sentence spec correction, filed as objectstack-ai/objectstack#20841 (domain:spec, p3). It is the spec's own card, ⛔ not this one's.
