I have already used up my available Codex usage, and I would like to continue using Codex with an alternative AI provider.

Would it be possible to add support for custom or OpenAI-compatible providers, such as Z.AI / GLM?

This would make Codex more flexible and allow users to continue using the tool with other compatible providers when their OpenAI/Codex quota is exhausted.

    Thanks for the request. We are already tracking custom OpenAI-compatible providers and endpoints in #52, so I am closing this as a duplicate and consolidating the discussion there.
