I may be hitting a related issue, but my symptoms are slightly broader.😭
On macOS with Codex CLI v0.111.0, local Codex clients (CLI / VS Code / app) hang after sending a prompt, while Codex Web still works.
I also see:
failed to refresh available models: timeout waiting for child process to exitSo this may be related to terminal/background process state management, but not exactly the same surface symptom.
