What issue are you seeing?
The /status command appears to return stale information for the weekly limit within an active session.
Specifically, the first value shown (remaining weekly limit) stays fixed based on the initial /status call and does not update on subsequent calls within the same session.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Start a new Codex session
Run /status
Use some of the weekly quota
Run /status again
What is the expected behavior?
The /status command should reflect the current remaining weekly limit and update dynamically with each call.

Merged PR #16201 is the issue-specific fix and adds status refresh tests.
