Preserve and display custom chat titles in archive #16697

Description

@Chi-p

What variant of Codex are you using?

App (MacOS)

What feature would you like to see?

Currently, Codex allows users to rename chats while they are active. For example, I often assign Jira ticket numbers as chat titles to keep conversations tied to specific tasks.

However, after a chat is archived, the custom title is no longer visible in the archive view. At the same time, the title itself is not lost — if the chat is restored from the archive, the custom title reappears.

This suggests that the title is still stored, but simply not displayed in the archived state.

This behavior makes it difficult to navigate archived chats, especially when using titles as identifiers for tasks or issues. Without visible titles, the archive becomes much harder to use efficiently.

Proposed improvement:
Display user-defined chat titles in the archive view, just like in active chats.

Additional information

This feels like a purely UI/UX issue rather than a missing feature — the data already exists and is restored correctly after unarchiving.
