Codex Mac sidebar hides existing unpinned threads after update #29550
After updating Codex Desktop for Mac, recent existing threads are not visible in the sidebar unless pinned. The threads still exist: internal thread lookup can find/read them, and pinning makes them appear.
Environment
Product: Codex Desktop for Mac
Current version: 0.142.0
Affected thread was created before the update
Host: local macOS
Observed behavior
A recent all-day thread was missing from the sidebar.
Internal thread listing could still find it.
Reading the thread by internal id worked.
Pinning the thread made it appear in the sidebar.
Unpinned visibility appears broken or filtered after the update.
Expected behavior
Recent local threads should appear in the sidebar without requiring pinning. If a project/worktree filter is active, it should be visible and searchable recovery should still work.
Suspected area
Sidebar thread index/filter hydration after update, possibly related to project/worktree scoping or older thread metadata migration.
