The quality of code analysis and generation dropped precipitously #30759
What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.623.70822
What subscription do you have?
Pro $200/mo
What platform is your computer?
Darwin 25.5.0 arm64 arm
What issue are you seeing?
Some time last week (probably around 06/23 or 24), the quality of code analysis and output dropped.
Even in a relatively small change, Codex would keep making mistakes and then finding new P1's and P2's during reviews. This process would repeat again and again.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Feedback ID: 019f19da-678a-7c92-bd3d-53eec5434ada
What is the expected behavior?
Before last week, Codex was working absolutely fine.
more of the same today: found 2 P0's (that's the first) and 2 P1's. All these problems in a single file (DB schema with tables, views, SPs) that so far has accumulated 800 inserted lines and 30 deleted.
This makes Codex unusable and is a critical issue for me!

I uploaded a couple of performance traces but only have the ID of the last one: 019f19da-678a-7c92-bd3d-53eec5434ada

Codex reviewed the change: again found a P1.
Codex fixed the P1 and another review found a new P1.
As mentioned, this is the 3rd or 4th round and the result is the same.
