(No Agent use) After slow-response bug was fixed a few days ago, usage limit burns faster than before, and I only use "slow" mode #31199
What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.623.101652
What subscription do you have?
Plus
What platform is your computer?
Windows 11 x64
What issue are you seeing?
Last week, I had 2 issues.
1.extremely slow response: it took more than 30 minutes to response 1 order.
2.the usage limit was burnt too fast
A few days ago, I realized that the slow-response was fixed. However, I have also realized that the usage limit was burnt so fast. I ONLY use low for my coding, but it can just waste more than 2% for one simple text response for confirming my bug fix request. For coding, it wastes more than 10% on one simple small bug fix.
I only use it for coding, and I am not using any agent. However, I can just reach my 5-hour limit within around 1 hour.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
It is just keeping wasting my usage, either text responses or coding.
For the record, I am not an AI agent user.
I have the same issue. Processing became extremely slow in the form of messages taking forever to be output, extremely long pauses while thinking (effort: medium) or between turns, and all the 1000 credits that I topped up yesterday were burned only by a couple of hours worth of work.
