Environment:

  • Codex CLI 0.142.3 works normally
  • 32 GB RAM

The issue is reproducible every time.

Codex CLI works normally on the same machine.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  3. Create a new chat or open an existing one.
  4. Send any prompt (even "hello").

Update: The behavior has changed. Initially the app opened and crashed after sending any prompt. Now it crashes immediately on startup and always shows the same memory allocation failed error.
