   Update: The intermittent renderer/app restart and state-rehydration failure has become much more frequent with recent Codex Desktop updates. On the current macOS build (26.727.51351), the application now blanks and reloads every 2–3 minutes during active use, making it nearly unusable. The main app process remains alive while the renderer repeatedly fails and reloads.
