Weekly quota dropped from ~50% to 0% with almost no usage shown in Analytics #44214

What issue are you seeing?

On September 9, 2026, between 16:00 and 17:00 UTC, my remaining weekly Codex quota suddenly dropped from approximately 50% to 0%.

I was using GPT-6 Astra with Low reasoning effort. I used very little Codex during that period, and no other task was active.

Personal Analytics showed almost no Codex usage for September 9. I understand that Analytics may be delayed by up to six hours, but the weekly quota dropped all at once instead of matching the visible activity.

Another model allowance remained available. I did not use my available reset.

The next weekly reset was shown as September 13 at 19:26 UTC.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

I cannot reproduce the issue on demand. This is what happened:

1. The weekly quota showed approximately 50% remaining.
2. I used Codex only briefly, with no other active task.
3. The remaining quota suddenly changed to 0%.
4. Personal Analytics showed almost no corresponding usage for that day.

No feedback/session ID is available for this event.

What is the expected behavior?

The weekly quota should reflect the usage attributed to the account. A small amount of activity should not consume approximately half of the weekly allowance.

If the usage was counted incorrectly, the quota should be corrected without requiring the available reset.
