Codex won't load after latest upgrade #48822

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

N/A (The "About Codex" dialogue doesn't show but it was the latest version on 27/09

What platform is your computer?

Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64

What issue are you seeing?

I upgraded codex to the latest version and now the app won't load anymore, all I can see is a load spinner and nothing else on the screen (top bar, sidebar and etc are all not showing)

I can still right click on the task bar and see a list of recent chats, but nothing happens when I click there

I tried to uninstall and redownload Codex, but the only version in the website is the most recent one and the problem keeps happening.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Download the codex app, install and try to use it

What is the expected behavior?

That it opens and is ready to use
