Codex doctor report
The doctor report appears to report disk space incorrectly:
worktree available: 0.0 MiB
However, df -h "/Volumes/X10 Pro/pumpu" reports:
/dev/disk2s2 — Size 3.6Ti, Used 337Gi, Available 3.3Ti, Capacity 10%.
The same output reports iused=1, ifree=0, %iused=100%.

I repeatedly experience streaming disconnects and long periods without visible progress in Codex CLI 0.160.1 on macOS using Apple Terminal.
Full error:
“Falling back from WebSockets to HTTPS transport. stream disconnected before completion: websocket closed by server before response.completed.”
Reconnect attempts sometimes reach 5/5. Tasks have shown “Working” for 20–30 minutes with little visible output, making it unclear whether processing is continuing, waiting, or stalled.
This occurred repeatedly with GPT-6-Astra Medium, including October 6, 2026, approximately 12:30–1:35 PM Eastern.
The task was a bounded TypeScript change: replace a movement-tracking jitter calculation with timestamp-aware local-trend residuals, add five focused synthetic tests, and update an existing implementation log. No video processing or production build was requested.
I switched to GPT-6.1-Sol Medium in the same session. It completed the task with visible progress in approximately 14 minutes. This does not establish that the previous model caused the connection failures.
Expected behavior: the response completes without repeated disconnects, and progress or connection status clearly indicates whether work is continuing or blocked.

What is the expected behavior?
Codex should complete the task without repeated streaming disconnects. If the connection fails, it should clearly indicate whether work is continuing, retrying, waiting for input, or stopped, and recover without losing or duplicating completed work.
Additional information
The issue has occurred in both Nova’s integrated terminal and Apple Terminal.
The doctor report shows CLI version 0.160.1, but the running background app-server is version 0.159.2. Configuration includes daemon_auto_start=false.
HTTP reachability and the WebSocket handshake passed when doctor ran, despite the earlier recurring stream disconnects.
Doctor also reported 0.0 MiB free for the project drive, while df reported 3.3 TiB available. Details are included in the doctor report field.
I do not know whether these findings are related to the disconnects.
