What issue are you seeing?

Hello Support,
I am using ChatGPT, Powered by Codex & OWL, version 26.1007.21434, released on October 9, 2026. In the Computer use settings, Any App, Chrome, Edge, and Excel are enabled.
After a full Windows restart, system commands and local file access worked successfully, including reading a file and writing a test file. However, a newly created local task for dot failed when calling cua.getState(), with the following error:
MXC launcher: cannot locate required Windows platform directory: HRESULT 0x80070003
The kernel exited with code 1. The tool metadata also stated:
Native computer APIs are disabled.
Test time: October 10, 2026, approximately 14:04 Riyadh time (UTC+3).
Expected behavior: Computer-use tools should work according to the enabled settings.
Please investigate the launcher failure and clarify why native computer APIs are reported as disabled despite the enabled settings. No permissions were changed and no software was installed during the diagnostic test.
