Dependency warning

There was an update of chardet to 6.0.0.post1 yesterday. Since chardet is not a dependency of requests I did not expect problems with this.

requests shows a warning in logs: "RequestsDependencyWarning: urllib (2.6.3) or chardet (6.0.0.post1)/charset_normalizer (3.4.4) doesn't match a supported version!"

Same issue, I need to pin chardet<6 to keep using request for now

In the future, please search closed and open issues before creating new ones that are duplicates.

Your reply really bugs me.
#1 I do not search for closed issues for a problem that is still happening on the latest version.
#2 You should not have closed the issue you linked, because you have not solved it.
#3 If a specific version of chardet is important to your libary, you should include it as an EXPLICIT dependency, not as a vague underwater dependency that throws warnings when it does not conform to unspecified versions. If it is important, make it explicit so pip can deal with it and give people clear warnings on conflicts.
This is NOT good, either add chardet as an explicit dependency or remove these warnings.

@Houbein please do some more research before you post a rant comment like this

1. You really should search closed issues for a problem that still exists in the latest version.
2. This issue was closed, because it is a duplicate of chardet 6 triggers RequestsDependencyWarning on stderr #7219
3. Please read here, why it was added as optional dependency: Make chardet/charset_normalizer optional? #5871

Furthermore, please think twice, before you rant against an awesome open source project. They do a great job.
