Count a public testing/ entry point as production code #98

Open

Description

@typeweaver

codeheat treats any testing/ directory as test support and leaves it out of every design measure. Some libraries publish such a directory as a public entry point, for example a package whose package.json exports maps ./testing into src/testing/ (test clocks, test layers). Those files are production code for the package's users and should count.

Done when

  • A directory named like test support counts as production code when a package manifest exports a path into it.
  • A test covers both cases: an exported src/testing/ counts, an internal one does not.
  • The README rule on test code says so.
