catch match for pattern matching exceptions? #239

Closed

Description

@dead-claudia

This goes in line with precedent in other languages with both pattern matching and exceptions.

I'm not married to try { <stmts> } catch match { <patterns> } - it just summarizes the idea pretty well.

    This is explicitly out of scope for this proposal. It’s also something i plan to explore once this one advances sufficiently.

    @isiahmeadows - the README outlines this sort of idea in its "Possible future enhancements" section - not sure if you were trying to echo that section, or if you missed it/forgot about it?
