Cross-platform validation matrix (Linux host, completions, disk sizing) #42

Description

@mobileskyfi

Context

Several paths are exercised mainly on the Intel-Mac dev host; they need real runs on other platforms before we claim support. Windows-specific validation lives in the Windows first-class support umbrella (#40).

This is validation/lab matrix work, not a request to broaden normal push/PR CI by default. If #29 creates reusable manual/lab workflow units, this issue can use that shape for targeted runs.

Proposed approach

  • Linux-host bundle run (download -> launch -> REST-ready -> exec) under KVM.
  • completions --install on bash and fish (zsh is the dev default).
  • qemu-img + --boot-size disk-grow path on Linux.

Done-when

Each path has a green run (a targeted CI/lab workflow or a documented local run). A failure is broken out into its own issue rather than blocking unrelated validation items.

Grounding needed?

Yes: real runs on Linux / other shells, not inference. We can run Linux under QEMU here if no CI runner is available.
