Bugbot now requires version-matched dependency type evidence and a supported fault path before claiming that an exception escapes a typed catch. This helps prevent false positives while preserving reports of genuine uncaught wrappers and swallowed cancellation.

What changed

  • Added shared dependency type and fault evidence guidance to production reviews and the real-agent benchmark.
  • Added nine regression cases covering resolved subclasses, unavailable or stale hierarchy evidence, uncaught wrappers, misleading mocks, and swallowed cancellation.
  • Updated the quality corpus to 59 cases and synchronized the specification, catalog, and operator documentation.
  • Recorded a six-case model comparison with its limits: both runs had zero false positives and negatives, while only the corrected run passed the exact-location threshold.

Validation

  • The author reports 772 Jest suites and 14,100 passing tests, with 35 existing skips; global and module budgets and setup acceptance passed.
  • The author reports all 267 extension tests passed at 100% in four metrics, and the local patch audit found zero misses or uncovered changed branches.
  • The author reports types, lint, specification/catalog and documentation checks, Graphify, full build, package validation, and CLI, typed API, and local web smoke checks passed.
  • The author reports the six-case product-runtime comparison had zero false positives and negatives in both samples; the baseline missed one exact location, and the corrected sample passed all default thresholds. The sample does not reproduce the historical false positive or establish statistical improvement.

Review notes

  • The checked-in model comparison is a small sample and does not independently rerun the consumer's resolved JAR or PostgreSQL fault receipts.
