Description: Audio doubles after some time and keeps playing when i mute the audio inside twitch
Steps to Reproduce:
Title: Twitch: audio plays twice with a delay, second track ignores player mute
Description
When watching any Twitch stream, the audio starts playing twice after
some time, with a small delay between the two audio tracks.
Steps to reproduce
- Open any Twitch stream
- Keep watching for a while
- The audio doubles, with the second track slightly out of sync
Observed behavior
- Muting the stream in the Twitch player only mutes one track; the
second, out-of-sync track keeps playing - Muting the tab silences everything
Expected behavior
Only one audio track plays, and the Twitch mute button silences it.
Environment
- Zen version: Mozilla Zen 1.23.2b (updated to the latest release today)
- OS: nix (NIX) 2.34.8
Additional info
- Happens on every stream, not tied to a specific channel
- Not reproducible in Chrome on the same machine
