feature: Ask AI default mode setting

Thanks for this software, it has helped to automate.

In using the Ask AI feature, I only use API mode and sometimes forget to switch to it from Navigator mode. May the AI mode become a profile preference or use the last chosen mode?

The modes are getting all removed soon, it will be all automatic a completely new AI sessions experience (similar to codex/claude code app)
