Only one model available

I updated copilot.lua to the latest version today, and now I am getting errors detailing that the only copmpletion model being available being GPT-4.1-copilot:

Executing :Copilot model list reveals this:

That can't be right. I have many more available:

Reverting back to 9b8d77c gets rid of the problem and copilot starts working again on claude-sonnet.4.5

I'm also having this same issue. Completion does seem to work after I get that error message, so maybe it's a bug in the initialization code?

I am guessing it used to silently fail, and now it gives an error message. The Models from the screenshot are for Chat, copilot CLI, etc, they are not for the auto-completion feature. There are a few discussions and/or closed issues discussing this if you want more information. So you can just remove the model from the config and it will use the current completion model.
I believe a recent PR added the ability to list current models, you could probably use that to confirm what I am saying :)

More info on this would be useful. I don't see anything about it in :help copilot.lua.

Interestingly, if I edit a blank .ts file in my /tmp directory, I don't get the error message, but when I edit a .ts file in an existing project, I do get the error message. However, after I get the error message, I still get autocompletion results from Copilot:

Aha -- I just saw in the OP above that I can run :Copilot model list. My output also appears to suggest that only one model is available for completion:

And I found a couple of previous issues, e.g. #373 which make it clear that this is, in fact, the only model that this plugin supports using for completion.

I'm guessing what's happening is that the plugin is automatically falling back to gpt-41-copilot for completion. I'm just going to remove my copilot_model config and have it fallback to that default model.

It seems that 4o is indeed the model used by github copilot (everywhere) at the moment for completion. I'll adjust and remove the setting on my end.

Thanks for clarification, just struck me as odd that we're still on 4o when 5.2 and faster versions of 5.2 are out, but that's on Github.
