Description
I used plan mode to plan some UI changes on my web app and during the whole process the model was stuck on a reasoning loop, thinking the exact same things every time. When it finally asked if it could implement the planned changes, it kept thinking non-stop about the same stuff again.
I use Github Copilot with the student plan and now it used all my limits and I can't use it until the end of the month. This is not the first time however, it happened before and it's always with Open Code.

Me too. I tried to install rag-enhance plugin in opencode. It will add RAG search result in context. Opencode stuck in reasonling loop. Model is MniMax 2.5.
I changed model to Big Pickle and ask the same question. It not happening again.

I'm experiencing the same issue on Windows (PowerShell). Claude Sonnet 4.6 with medium thinking enabled is essentially unusable in OpenCode — the model gets stuck planning in the thinking trace and never executes the actual tool calls.
