[BUG]: Integrated terminal is completely unresponsive (blank screen, no input) #21469
The integrated terminal in OpenCode is completely unresponsive - it displays a blank white screen and cannot receive any keyboard input. The terminal tab shows (e.g., 'Terminal 1'), but the content area remains empty and typing does nothing.
Current behavior:
Terminal opens but shows blank white screen
No shell prompt displayed (no PowerShell/cmd output)
Keyboard input is not received (cannot type commands)
Terminal is completely unusable
Expected behavior:
Terminal should display shell prompt (PowerShell or CMD)
Should accept keyboard input and execute commands
Should show command output normally
Plugins
N/A (core functionality issue)
OpenCode version
Latest version (as of April 2026)
Steps to reproduce
Open OpenCode application
Click the terminal panel toggle (or press shortcut) to open integrated terminal
Click '+' to create new terminal
Attempt to type any command
Result: Terminal shows blank screen, no input accepted
Screenshot and/or share link
Screenshot attached showing blank terminal with no shell prompt or output.
Operating System
Windows 11
Terminal
OpenCode integrated terminal (built-in)
Additional context:
Restarting OpenCode does not resolve the issue
Closing and reopening terminal tabs does not help
PowerShell 5.1 and CMD both fail to load in the terminal
This appears to be a terminal rendering layer bug in the OpenCode client
