Desktop app terminal blank with "Unexpected server error" on Windows #29089

Description

The terminal panel in OpenCode Desktop on Windows opens completely blank — no shell prompt, no keyboard input, no cursor. Typing, Ctrl+C, and all key combinations do nothing. The terminal is entirely non-interactive.

This affects both PowerShell 5.1 and PowerShell 7.6.2 (pwsh). Setting shell: pwsh or shell: powershell in config has no effect. logLevel: DEBUG also yields no additional details in server logs.

The error in pty.log repeats on every click:
Failed to create terminal Error: Unexpected server error. Check server logs for details.

server.log only shows an unrelated SQLite warning — no terminal-related errors are logged at all, indicating the sidecar server is dropping the real error before it reaches the log.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open OpenCode Desktop on Windows 10 22H2
2. Click the Terminal panel button (top-right)
3. Terminal opens blank — no prompt, no input accepted
4. Create a new terminal tab — same result
5. Restart OpenCode — no change

Troubleshooting attempted (none resolved)

• Set shell: powershell in opencode.json
• Set shell: pwsh after installing PowerShell 7.6.2
• Set logLevel: DEBUG in both global and project config
• Multiple clean restarts

VS Code integrated terminal works normally on the same machine with the same shells. May be related to #21498, #21469, #21440.
