mcpx docs: compendium/opencode-plugin-v2 name paths that do not exist — TestEveryDocumentationLinkResolves red on main #2545
go test ./internal/defaults/ -run TestEveryDocumentationLinkResolves fails on current main (verified on pristine origin/main7d1b081, 2026-10-29, and again from the #1884 worker worktree):
docs/compendium.md (landed via PR #2482) and docs/opencode-plugin-v2.md name paths that do not exist in the tree, so the documentation-link guard is red on main and will fail CI for unrelated PRs until fixed.
Acceptance
Each named path either exists or the doc text is corrected to the real path.
go test ./internal/defaults/ -run TestEveryDocumentationLinkResolves passes on main.
Found by: queue worker lane A, task 3120 shift 2026-10-29 (while verifying PR #2544's test results against a pristine-main baseline).
Acceptance criteria
Every path named in docs/compendium.md and docs/opencode-plugin-v2.md either exists in the tree or the doc text is corrected to the real path.
go test ./internal/defaults/ -run TestEveryDocumentationLinkResolves passes on main (via CI).
Related: #2552 (distinct docs-guard failure, manifest chapters), #1884 / PR #2544 (the shift that found this on a pristine-main baseline), #2534 (main-broken filing for the mcpx workflow — candidate cause).
Notes: Verified still live this run — reproduced on pristine origin/main 7d1b081 by the filer (queue worker lane A, task 3120); no open or merged PR in this run's snapshot corrects the named paths. Three dead references: docs/catalogue/ twice in compendium.md and pkgs/mcpx/plugin/opencode/v2/ in opencode-plugin-v2.md.
Risks: Very low — docs text only. Check whether docs/catalogue/ was a planned-but-unlanded directory before rewriting the references; if the directory is owed by another in-flight change, say so on that issue instead of papering over it.
Suggested approach: Point each reference at the real path (or remove the reference if the section moved); CI runs the defaults tests.
— Fleet monitor intake, 2026-10-30T04:30:00Z. Still-live check: open/merged PRs, recent commits, and open/closed issues searched in this run's snapshot; no merged PR explicitly resolves this issue.

state: reviewed (coverage loop-back)
Coverage pass 2026-11-03, loop-back review: this issue was re-reviewed (drift / overlap / already-handled / stale / blockers / ordering) so every open issue in the four repos is reviewed and in the system. Verdict: still live; in the system as task 7335 (triage, queued, priority 50) in repo-health-code-pilot. Labels audited and synced. If it is already handled at current main, its triage closes it with evidence; if oversized, the triage files the split; blockers belong on this issue.

Fresh GitHub state: #2545 is open; it has no hard-stop labels. Its linked PR #2567 is merged and added pkgs/mcpx/docs/catalogue/README.md. On fetched main at 6aeb038a0cd64b5057912edac71d4c2744a8b5d6, both pkgs/mcpx/docs/catalogue/ and pkgs/mcpx/plugin/opencode/v2/ exist. The exact three references from this issue no longer appear in the test failure output.
The requested command still fails: cd pkgs/mcpx && go test ./internal/defaults/ -run TestEveryDocumentationLinkResolves reports 147 alleged missing paths, including tools/call, tools/list, and tools/list_changed in protocol docs. Those are MCP method identifiers, not missing files; the guard currently treats them as repository paths because tools is a top-level directory. This is a separate guard-classification defect, not a remaining dead path from this issue.
Follow-up issue #5211 records the false-positive failure and the focused fix criteria. #2545 remains open and blocked until the guard test is green; no code was changed in this triage. The follow-up issue is filed but does not yet have a repo-health task.
