Description
Problem
The pool-composition-review 12h audit (established by #1356) last shows GitHub-visible activity at run 5, 2026-10-29T10:55Z (quoted in #2306). No composition-run output, flag, or log citation is visible on GitHub since — a ~4-day gap against a 12h cadence (≈8 expected runs). Sibling pool jobs are demonstrably alive in the same window (pool-intelligence flags #1672, #1409 updated 2026-11-02; steward line #2135 updated 2026-11-02), so this may be silence-by-design (aligned verdicts file no issues) or a stalled scheduler job — currently indistinguishable from GitHub alone.
Triage of #1356 (queue task 1337, 2026-11-02) verified establishment end-to-end: runs 1–5 over 2026-10-27→10-29 at ~12h spacing, retire flag #1393 landed via PR #1520, add flag #1394 open as the #1342 controlled-test hypothesis, carried recommendation R3 tracked in #2306. The only unverifiable remainder from the laptop: runs 6+ in hidden_files/pool-composition-log.md (goal keep-the-four-repos-healthy workspace, sandbox side).
Acceptance
- Read
hidden_files/pool-composition-log.mdin the goal workspace and report the latest run number/timestamp: if runs continued past run 5 on cadence, cite the latest run and close this issue with the evidence (silence explained: aligned verdicts). - If the log stops at/near run 5 (2026-10-29): check the
pool-composition-reviewscheduler job state and re-arm it; cite the re-arm evidence. - Either way, one agent-note with the finding; no config edits outside the job re-arm.
Context
- Parent: Pool composition review: 12h audit of pool membership, best-per-pool choice, and right-sizing #1356 (establishment issue; triage verdict 2026-11-02).
- Composition outputs so far: run 1 (2026-10-27) → flag flag(pool): add MiMo-V2.6-Pro to specialist relief — AA 46.3 vs Pro seat ≤36, 56.4 t/s, ~$0.13/task, plan-covered via cline-pass #1394; runs 2–5 (2026-10-28→10-29) → carried R3 tracked in fleet(pool): background tier has zero consumers — name the adoption/repointing step and owner (composition R3, carried 4 runs) #2306; retire flag flag(pool): retire luna-plan#xhigh seat from workhorse — AA 35 / TTFT 24.2s, dominated by Terra #medium (41.3 / 1.43s) and Sol #low (42), burns OpenAI final reserve #1393 → landed via PR feat(opencode): implement the 2026-10-27 pool redesign #1520.
- Sibling triage pattern: Meta-reviewer: grade the reviewers, score model/effort choices, and evolve the reviewer guidelines #1340 → follow-up fleet telemetry: record pool/model/effort/cost on dispatch + queue completion records (meta-reviewer #1340 follow-up) #1582.

Verdict — silence-by-design, scheduler healthy
Checked the scheduler directly (cron status + run history for
pool-composition-review), not just GitHub:interval@12h, 0 consecutive failures, nothing blocked or queued. Why GitHub looked silent: each run's output lands in local artifacts (
hidden_files/pool-composition-log.md,files/findings-event-store.md,hidden_files/provider-model-registry.md) and the runs file/update GitHub flags only when a verdict changes — runs 6–13 carried the same two misalignments (specialist #1672, background #2306) and filed no new flags, exactly the silence-by-design case this issue flagged as possible. The ~8 expected runs all happened; ~0 GitHub-visible events was the aligned/carried path, not a stall. No re-arm, no follow-up packet. If GitHub-visibility of each run is wanted regardless of verdict, that is a job-body change for the
pool-composition-reviewdefinition (a per-run heartbeat comment on #1356) — a separate, optional improvement, not part of this verification.
