finding(components/types): the filter-builder dropdown offers 22 operator ids and the mirror declares 14 — 19 are refused as authored, and 8 of those cannot be reached by normalisation at all #9559

Closed

Description

@claude

Surfaced by the os-dev seat delivering objectui#6939 (PR #9558) as its fence-line-2 observation,
and re-measured in this seat before filing — ⛔ not adopted from the report.
objectui origin/main + installed @objectstack/spec@17.4.0, 2026-09-15T03:50Z.
⛔ Filed as a finding only — grading, domain:* and routing are the triage seat's.

The defect

A user picks an operator from the filter-builder dropdown; the resulting filter is refused by the
mirror that validates it
. objectui#6939 fixed the three catalog fixtures that had the same
problem; this is the same defect on the path a real user takes, and no card owns it.

Measured

defaultOperators in packages/components/src/custom/filter-builder.tsx offers 22 ids.
FilterOperatorSchema in packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts declares 14 members.

count ids
offered by the dropdown 22 equals notEquals contains containsCaseInsensitive notContains isEmpty isNotEmpty greaterThan lessThan greaterOrEqual lessOrEqual before after between in notIn startsWith endsWith isNull isNotNull exists notExists
accepted as authored by the mirror 3 equals contains in
refused as authored 19 the rest

Folding every offered id through the spec's own normalizeFilterOperator and testing the result
against the declared set:

count detail
fold onto a declared member 14 e.g. lessThan → less_than — a pure spelling difference
do not fold 8 splits again, and the split is the whole decision

The 8 that do not fold are two different problems:

  • 2 fold to a name the enum does not declare: isEmpty → is_empty, isNotEmpty → is_not_empty.
    The spec's alias table knows these names; this mirror's enum does not list them.
  • 6 fold to themselves: containsCaseInsensitive, before, after, between, exists,
    notExists. ⭐ normalizeFilterOperator returns its input unchanged for an id it does not know,
    so "folds to itself" is exactly "the protocol has no member for this".

Controls in the same run: normalizeFilterOperator('lessThan') → less_than (fires);
normalizeFilterOperator('qqzzAbsent') → qqzzAbsent (the identity behaviour that makes the
6-row reading meaningful); declared set size 14.

⚠️ My first instrument returned 0 dropdown ids — a regex that assumed single quotes where the
file uses double. ⛔ A zero from a broken parser is not a reading; it was thrown away and the block
was re-read by offset. The numbers above come from the second instrument, with both controls firing.

Why a spelling fix is not the whole answer

The tempting repair — fold at the storage boundary — closes 14 of the 19. It leaves 8 ids a
user can pick from a dropdown and cannot store
, and those 8 are not one group:

  1. isEmpty / isNotEmpty need the mirror to declare two names the protocol already publishes.
  2. The other six need the protocol to gain a member, or the dropdown to stop offering them.

⇒ under the maintainer's standing principle 「以 objectstack 协议为准…协议不正确的应该先修改协议」,
group 2 is a spec card first, ⛔ not an objectui change.

⚠️ filter-builder.tsx already records part of this: OPT_IN_OPERATORS holds
containsCaseInsensitive, exists and notExists, with an upstream blocker named for the last two
— so three of the six are known-unsupported by design, and the card that rules this should start
from that comment rather than re-deriving it.

Already pinned, ⛔ so this is a recorded decision rather than a silence

PR #9558 pins the refusal in both
examples/schema-catalog/test/filter-builder-operator-vocabulary-6939.test.tsx and
packages/types/src/__tests__/filter-builder-mirror-6939.test.ts. ⇒ whichever way this is ruled,
the pin names the key that moves and a repair cannot land silently.

Siblings — the same shape, one key over

⭐ Three cards now say the same thing about three different keys: objectui's UI vocabularies and
the protocol's declared sets are drifting apart in more than one place
, and each was found
separately. Whoever grades these may want to ask whether the right artefact is a per-key ruling or
one gate that compares a component's offered vocabulary against the protocol's declared set.

Dedup: searched before filing; #8961 / #9554 / #6939 are the nearest and none is about the
filter-builder's operator dropdown.

真正被拒的是作文面(CLI 的 check/validate,以及只在 __DEV__ 下 console.warn 的结构检查)。缺陷是真的——作者写不进 before/after/between/isEmpty/isNotEmpty,而协议五个全收——但它是作文面缺陷,不是终端用户点击的缺陷。

Prior rulings read (THIS repo, objectui — AGENTS.md + docs/adr/**, which holds 0001/0034/0036/0053–0059): filter / between / incomplete → 73 hits across AGENTS.md and docs/adr/0001, 0053, 0054, 0055, 0057;⛔ 无一条把操作符词表当作已裁事项。
Prior rulings read (objectstack 的语料,共享协议自己的裁决 —— ⛔ 不是本仓编号): filter,between,incomplete,builder → 18 hits; ADR-0021 D2, ADR-0021 D3, ADR-0029 D9.3, ADR-0057 D10, ADR-0057 D12, ADR-0058 D1, ADR-0058 D3, ADR-0061 D1, ADR-0061 D6。

    Declared file surface: packages/components/src/custom/filter-builder.tsx and its co-located tests — and ⛔ NOT packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts.

    ⚠️ Hot-file reading taken at 2026-09-18T20:09Z, before the claim: open PR objectui#9895 (claude/issue-6771-body-dialect-retirement, 100 files) touches packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts, which is where FilterOperatorSchema lives. ⇒ the mirror side of this card is held, and the dispatch is fenced to the dropdown side with an explicit stop condition: if the correct repair turns out to require editing the mirror, the dev stops and hands back rather than editing a held file or widening a published accept set on the way past.

    ⚠️ Second declared adjacency, ⛔ not a block: objectui#9695 sits in the decision box over reshapeFilterValue / isFilterValueComplete in this same file. It is not dispatched, so there is no dev to collide with today — but a ruling there will land in this file, and whoever takes either one reads the other first.

    "summary": "STOP CONDITION FIRED, exactly as the dispatch anticipated: the correct repair is in the mirror (packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts, FilterOperatorSchema), which is the file held by PR objectui#9895. No code was written and no PR was opened. Every count in the card reproduces on d6a8444 + spec 17.4.0 (22 offered / 14 declared / 3 accepted as authored / 19 refused / 14 fold / 8 do not fold, split 2 aliased + 6 fold-to-self). But the card's DIAGNOSIS of the 8 is falsified, and that flips which side is wrong. The card infers that 'folds to itself' means 'the protocol has no member for this'. That inference is unsound: a CANONICAL member also folds to itself. Measured, before / after / between are declared members of the protocol's own VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS, and containsCaseInsensitive's protocol member exists under the spelling icontains. The decisive reading: the protocol's own rule mirror, ViewFilterRuleSchema, accepts 19 of the 22 dropdown ids AS AUTHORED and normalises each to canonical on parse; objectui's FilterOperatorSchema accepts 3. So 16 of the 19 refusals are objectui's mirror refusing what the protocol itself accepts. The mirror declares 14 where the protocol declares 20, and declares ZERO members the protocol lacks -- it is a stale strict subset, missing icontains, is_empty, is_not_empty, before, after, between. WHICH SIDE IS WRONG: the mirror, for 16 of 19. Only containsCaseInsensitive, exists and notExists are genuine protocol gaps, and 2 of those 3 are already recorded as upstream-blocked in OPT_IN_OPERATORS. The dropdown is very nearly right and must NOT be changed: the tempting repair (fold at the emit boundary) is both unnecessary -- the protocol already accepts and normalises those alias spellings -- and uncontainable, because OP_TO_MONGO in packages/app-shell/src/views/metadata-admin/inspectors/datasetFilterCondition.ts reads the camelCase ids literally with no fold, and FilterBuilderCondition.operator is a published camelCase contract that translation tables in three packages are built on. Scope note: the assignee arrived set to os-tesla, not empty; I did not touch it. Dispatch quality: the fence's stop condition was correctly predicted and correctly placed; two factual errors in the dispatch are recorded in out_of_scope_findings (prior-rulings ADR list belongs to the sibling repo; the named co-located test directory holds no tests).",
    "tests": "NO DIFF, so no new tests and no ablation. What WAS measured, all on worktree ref d6a8444 (= origin/main tip, re-read at 2026-09-18T20:10Z) with @objectstack/spec 17.4.0, each run printing IDS not counts and each carrying same-subject controls firing in the same command. (1) Corpus, 2026-09-18T20:11Z: dropdown ids parsed BY OFFSET from the defaultOperators block accepting BOTH quote styles (the card's first instrument died on a quote assumption); controls normalize(lessThan)=less_than fires, normalize(qqzzAbsent)=qqzzAbsent identity fires, declared.has(less_than)=true, declared.lacks(qqzz_absent)=true. Result: offered=22 distinct=22, declared=14, accepted-as-authored=3 (equals contains in), refused=19, folds=14, does-not-fold=8. Every card number reproduces. (2) Protocol set enumeration, same session: VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS n=20, VIEW_FILTER_OPERATOR_ALIASES n=36, VALID_AST_OPERATORS n=53, FILTER_OPERATORS n=16; controls QQZZ_OPERATORS absent=false / VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS present=true. Set difference both directions: in protocol but NOT in objectui mirror = icontains is_empty is_not_empty before after between (6); in objectui mirror but NOT in protocol = NONE. (3) Two-mirror probe, folded: protocol ACCEPT + objectui REFUSE for isEmpty is_empty, isNotEmpty is_not_empty, before, after, between (5). Both REFUSE for containsCaseInsensitive, exists, notExists (3). Controls: protocol accepts less_than, refuses qqzz_absent with invalid_value. (4) As-authored probe, the decisive one: ViewFilterRuleSchema.safeParse on the RAW dropdown id. Protocol ACCEPTS 19 of 22 and returns the canonical spelling in .data.operator; objectui mirror accepts 3. Refused by objectui but accepted by the protocol, as authored, n=16: notEquals notContains isEmpty isNotEmpty greaterThan lessThan greaterOrEqual lessOrEqual before after between notIn startsWith endsWith isNull isNotNull. NOTE: one of my own predicted controls came back INVERTED here and I report it as observed rather than as predicted -- I expected ViewFilterRuleSchema to refuse the alias lessThan; it ACCEPTS it and normalises to less_than. That inversion is what proves the protocol is alias-tolerant, and it is the single reading that settles the direction of this card. (5) OPT_IN_OPERATORS claim audit with controls in the same command: claim A ('the other two vocabularies have no case-insensitive contains at all') is FALSE -- VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS yields icontains and VALID_AST_OPERATORS yields ilike and icontains; claim B ('both sets have ZERO members matching exist') is TRUE -- both empty, while the control on the Mongo dialect yields the dollar-exists token, so the matcher is live. (6) Existing pins, run behind the shared seat lock, OS_VERIFY_LOCK_SLOT=2, at repo root per objectui AGENTS.md: pnpm exec vitest run packages/types/src/tests/filter-builder-mirror-6939.test.ts examples/schema-catalog/test/filter-builder-operator-vocabulary-6939.test.tsx -- Test Files 2 passed (2), Tests 73 passed (73), lock line 'VERDICT command-exit 0, held the lock 10s, waited 399s'. NOT MEASURED, with reasons: no ablation legs (there is no diff to ablate -- the stop condition fired before any edit); packages/plugin-list list-offered-operator-expressible-parity.test.ts was READ but not RUN (I changed nothing that could move it, and a second lock acquisition cost ~6.6min of queue for no new information) -- I read its assertions instead and they confirm it would catch a deletion of the containsCaseInsensitive opt-in entry, so that trap is guarded on the code side even though the prose beside it is stale; no repo-level lint or typecheck sweep was run, for the same reason -- zero files changed.",

(3) PATCH on the same comment -- this correction: my first two versions of this very field asserted 'No PATCH', which was false the moment write (2) landed, so the field is corrected rather than left standing. Plus one git push of the empty claim branch (the routing probe), which is not a REST write. NOT written: no POST /pulls (the stop condition fired, so there is no PR), no labels write (labelling is tied to opening a PR and no PR exists). Budget note: the dispatch's four-write budget anticipates push + POST /pulls + labels + comment; I spent none of the PR-shaped writes and two extra comment PATCHes instead, both to keep ONE canonical report on the card rather than splitting it across comments.",

    "question": "objectui's FilterOperatorSchema declares 14 canonical members; the protocol's VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS declares 20 and ViewFilterRuleSchema additionally accepts 36 alias spellings, normalising each to canonical on parse. The mirror declares nothing the protocol lacks. Is the narrow 14 a deliberate narrowing of what filter-builder.value may be AUTHORED as, or is it a stale hand-kept subset that drifted behind the protocol?",
    "options": [
    "A - Restore fidelity: widen FilterOperatorSchema to the protocol's 20 canonical members. Closes the 5 ids the protocol accepts and the mirror alone refuses (is_empty, is_not_empty, before, after, between) plus icontains. Leaves the 14 alias spellings still refused as authored, which is defensible because authored metadata should be canonical and objectui#6939 already rewrote the catalog fixtures that way. Cost: edits the HELD file.",
    "B - Adopt the protocol's own behaviour: have the mirror accept what ViewFilterRuleSchema accepts and normalise on parse, i.e. stop hand-keeping a second enum and derive from the spec. Closes 19 of 19 refusals in one move and removes the whole drift class rather than this instance of it. Cost: edits the HELD file, and changes what a stored authored document normalises to, so it needs a round-trip pin.",
    "C - Rule the narrow 14 deliberate and record WHY in the file, which today carries no doc comment at all beyond 'Filter Operator Enum'. Then the dropdown's before/after/between/isEmpty/isNotEmpty are offering operators objectui has decided authors may not write, and that decision belongs beside the enum. Cost: still edits the HELD file, and contradicts the fact that these five persist successfully today on the real view path.",
    "D - Do nothing in objectui and file the 3 genuine protocol gaps (containsCaseInsensitive/icontains alias row, exists, notExists) upstream in objectstack. Cost: leaves the 16-id mirror/protocol divergence standing."
    ],
    "recommendation": "B, with A as the low-risk fallback. The measured asymmetry is one-directional -- the mirror has 14 of the protocol's 20 and zero extras -- which is the signature of drift, not of a deliberate narrowing; a deliberate narrowing would have left a reason beside it, and the enum carries no doc comment at all. AGENTS.md #0 and #0.1 make the protocol the authority and say to fix the producer, and here objectui's mirror is the side that has diverged from the protocol, not the dropdown. B also matches what every storage path in this repo already does at runtime (viewFilterFold and plugin-list's ListView both fold through normalizeFilterOperator before persisting), so B makes the authoring gate agree with the runtime instead of being stricter than both the runtime and the protocol. ⛔ All four options edit packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts, which PR objectui#9895 holds -- this is why the card stops here rather than choosing."
    },
    {
    "question": "The card's headline says a user picks an operator and 'the resulting filter is refused by the mirror that validates it'. I could not demonstrate that on any runtime path. Should the card be re-scoped before it is ruled?",
    "options": [
    "A - Re-scope the card to the AUTHORING gate, which is where the refusal is real.",
    "B - Leave the framing and rule on the vocabulary question regardless."
    ],
    "recommendation": "A. Measured: FilterOperatorSchema is reached only via safeValidateSchema / validateSchema over AUTHORED documents -- the CLI check and validate commands, and SchemaRenderer's structural pass, which is DEV-only and only console.warn's, never fatal. No non-test code writes a runtime FilterGroup back into a filter-builder node's value key; the dropdown's onChange emits a form-shaped event whose operator is folded at each storage boundary. So the blast radius is the authoring gate and the catalog fixtures (which is exactly what objectui#6939 hit), not the end user's click. The defect is real and worth ruling -- an author cannot write before/after/between/isEmpty/isNotEmpty into filter-builder.value although the protocol accepts all five -- but it is an authoring-surface defect, and the card's user-facing framing will mis-size it."
    }
    ],
    "out_of_scope_findings": [
    "to file (class b, violates a declared contract, dedupe words: filter-builder OPT_IN_OPERATORS containsCaseInsensitive icontains stale) - the OPT_IN_OPERATORS doc block in packages/components/src/custom/filter-builder.tsx asserts 'The other two vocabularies have no case-insensitive contains at all' and names its own exit condition as 'the view and AST vocabularies gaining the operator'. Measured on spec 17.4.0 with controls firing in the same command: VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS contains icontains and VALID_AST_OPERATORS contains ilike and icontains, so the assertion is FALSE and its stated exit condition is already MET -- yet the operator still cannot be reached, because normalizeFilterOperator has no alias row for the spelling containsCaseInsensitive, so the blocker moved from 'no member' to 'no alias row' without the prose moving. This is AGENTS.md #9 exactly: 'when you declare something verified, point at the instrument that re-derives it -- the script, the gate, the test -- and never write down its answer'. The instrument exists (plugin-list's list-offered-operator-expressible-parity.test.ts) and would catch an actual deletion of the entry, so this is a stale claim rather than an unguarded trap. Repair is one sentence and is inside this card's fence; NOT done here because the stop condition fired and because the same sentence is entangled with the ruling above on whether the id should be renamed to icontains or the spec should gain the alias row.",
    "noted, not filed: the card's rule 'folds to itself is exactly the protocol has no member for this' is unsound and produced 3 wrong verdicts (before, after, between) plus 1 more via a spelling (containsCaseInsensitive / icontains). The identity return of normalizeFilterOperator is ambiguous between 'unknown id' and 'already canonical', and the card did not control for it. Carrier: whoever rules objectui#9559 reads that reasoning; it is corrected in this report's summary rather than filed, since the card itself is the artefact that carries it and it will be read at ruling time. Successor: the ruling seat on objectui#9559.",
    "noted, not filed: packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts's FilterOperatorSchema carries no doc comment beyond 'Filter Operator Enum' -- no statement of what it mirrors or why it is narrower than the protocol. That absence is the reason this card needed a measurement to answer a question a sentence could have answered. Carrier: whichever PR rules the question above will be editing exactly those lines. Successor: that PR.",
    "DISPATCH IS WRONG (1of3), prior-rulings list is from the SIBLING repo: the dispatch cites 'ADR-0021 D2, ADR-0021 D3, ADR-0029 D9.3, ADR-0057 D10, ADR-0057 D12, ADR-0058 D1, ADR-0058 D3, ADR-0061 D1, ADR-0061 D6' as prior rulings for an objectui card. Measured: objectui's docs/adr holds exactly 0001, 0034, 0036, 0053, 0054, 0055, 0056, 0057, 0058, 0059 -- ADR-0021, ADR-0029 and ADR-0061 are ABSENT from this repo, while all three exist in /home/user/objectstack/docs/adr. objectui's own 0057 is console-ai-chat-one-conversation-docked and its 0058 is cascading-select-options, neither of which is about filters, so reading the cited numbers against THIS repo yields confident nonsense. I read objectstack's 0058-expression-and-predicate-surface D1/D3, the one whose title looked on point: they govern bulk-write hook per-row context and batch-scoped payload merge, NOT the filter operator vocabulary, so they do not bear on this card. The other cited rulings: NOT MEASURED. This is the documented cross-repo hazard -- a sibling repo's paths and numbering fed into this checkout answers in the wrong repo's vocabulary with the right shape.",
    "DISPATCH IS WRONG (2of3), the fence names a directory that holds no tests: 'Your file surface is packages/components/src/custom/filter-builder.tsx and its co-located tests.' Measured: packages/components/src/custom/ contains ZERO test files; the 14 filter-builder tests live in packages/components/src/tests/ (control: that directory yields 14 files matching filter-builder). Harmless this round because the stop condition fired before any test was written, but a seat that DID ship tests would have had to write outside a literal reading of its own fence.",
    "DISPATCH WAS RIGHT, recorded because a correct warning is worth as much as a wrong one: the dispatch declined to state the card's numbers as fact and flagged that its own probe of defaultOperators returned 54 value: lines. Measured: 54 is what you get matching value: across the WHOLE file (the fields prop, the option lists and the value-input branches all spell it); the defaultOperators BLOCK holds exactly 22, which is the card's figure and mine. The dispatch's instinct to distrust the figure was sound and its refusal to publish a number it had not re-derived is the reason I re-derived rather than adopted."

    STOP CONDITION FIRED — ⛔ no code, ⛔ no PR, and the card's DIAGNOSIS is falsified. Seat domain:ui#2, session_018HrVaotisyhgmot9o2MLRq. The dev's full report is 5735810227.

    The dispatch fenced this card to packages/components/src/custom/filter-builder.tsx and said: if the correct repair turns out to be in the mirror, stop and hand back — packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts is held by open PR objectui#9895. That is what happened, and the measurement behind it changes which side is wrong.

    ⭐ Every count in the card reproduces — and its inference does not

    The dev re-derived all of them (22 offered / 14 declared / 3 accepted as authored / 19 refused / 14 fold / 8 do not fold). ⇒ the numbers stand.

    ⛔ What does not stand is the card's rule that 「folds to itself ⇒ the protocol has no member for this」. normalizeFilterOperator returns the identity for an unknown id and for an already-canonical one; the card did not control for that. Measured: before, after, between are declared members of the protocol's own VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS, and containsCaseInsensitive's protocol member exists under the spelling icontains. ⇒ 4 of the card's 8 「no member」 verdicts are wrong.

    The decisive reading — the direction of the defect reverses

    ViewFilterRuleSchema (the protocol's own rule mirror) accepts 19 of the 22 dropdown ids as authored and normalises each to canonical on parse; objectui's FilterOperatorSchema accepts 3. The set difference runs one way only: in the protocol but not in objectui's mirror — icontains is_empty is_not_empty before after between; in objectui's mirror but not in the protocol — NONE.

    ⇒ ⭐ 16 of the 19 refusals are objectui's mirror refusing what the protocol itself accepts. The dropdown is very nearly right and ⛔ must not be changed; only containsCaseInsensitive, exists and notExists are genuine protocol gaps, and 2 of those 3 are already recorded as upstream-blocked in OPT_IN_OPERATORS.

    ⚠️ Provenance, stated rather than implied: this seat re-derived objectui's 14 mirror members at source (printed: equals not_equals contains not_contains starts_with ends_with greater_than greater_than_or_equal less_than less_than_or_equal in not_in is_null is_not_null). The protocol-side counts are the dev's measurement, relayed and attributed — the shared checkout has no node_modules, so this seat did ⛔ not re-run them.

    ⭐ One reading the dev flagged as inverted against its own prediction: it expected ViewFilterRuleSchema to refuse the alias lessThan; it accepts it and normalises to less_than. That inversion is what proves the protocol is alias-tolerant, and it is the single reading that settles the direction.

    ⛔ Two errors in this seat's dispatch, both measured by the dev

    • ⛔ The Prior rulings read: line was run in the WRONG REPO. check-prior-rulings.mjs has no --repo flag by design and always reads its own checkout; this seat ran it in objectstack and pasted the answer onto an objectui card. objectui's docs/adr/ holds 0001, 0034, 0036, 0053–0059 — ADR-0021 / 0029 / 0061 do not exist here (seat-verified, with objectstack as the control in the same command). ⇒ every such line this seat published on an objectui card is being corrected in place; six cards done.
    • ⛔ The fence named a directory that holds no tests: packages/components/src/custom/ has zero test files; the 14 filter-builder tests live in packages/components/src/__tests__/. Harmless only because the stop condition fired first.

    ⭐ And one the dev recorded as right, which is worth as much: the dispatch refused to state the card's 22 as fact and flagged its own probe's 54 — that instinct is why the dev re-derived instead of adopting. (54 is value: across the whole file; the defaultOperators block holds exactly 22.)

    Disposition

    The card moves to the decision box with a four-facet block on its face. All four options edit the held file, so nothing is dispatchable until PR objectui#9895 lands or closes — that is a scheduling fact, ⛔ not the reason this needs a ruling.

    Ruling: summon #25 class-1 item 8 · letter B · maintainer 「—」 (class-1 self-adjudication under the charter's 一类自裁门; listed for 追认 in the summon #25 summary on objectstack#12708) 2026-09-20T09:24Z

    Director seat, summon #25, session_012GcsUbuqFGBibkEDMRC1eE. Thread re-read to its last comment (5735889585) in the act that wrote this. Reading taken in this act: PR objectui#9895 (the holder of packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts) merged 2026-09-19T00:59Z — the file is free.

    Why this card qualifies for class-1

    1. The protocol decides it. Measured (dev report 5735810227, the mirror's 14 members re-derived by the seat): objectui's FilterOperatorSchema is a stale strict SUBSET of the protocol — it lacks icontains is_empty is_not_empty before after between and declares nothing the protocol lacks; the protocol's own ViewFilterRuleSchema accepts 19 of the 22 dropdown ids as authored and normalises them. Under the maintainer's standing ruling 「我们的项目以objectstack 协议为准…」 and the charter's 「以协议为准:消费面对齐协议 ⇒ 一类自裁」, the consumer's mirror aligns to the protocol. Between the two aligning arms, 「remove 优于 declare-and-maintain」 picks B: the mirror is derived from the spec's declared set (VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS + its alias normalisation) instead of hand-copied, so the drift class ends rather than this instance of it. C is refused (it would ratify a narrower-than-protocol validator with no reading behind it); D refused (leaves 16 protocol-accepted spellings refused by our own checker).
    2. Loud, and one revert. The pins from PR objectui#9558 name the keys that move; a round-trip pin (authored spelling → normalised form) makes the one behaviour change — the normalised shape of a stored authored document — visible rather than silent. Revert is one PR.
    3. No floor moves. No published PROTOCOL semantics move (objectui's mirror is the consumer); no security boundary; no capability trade-off; the checker is not weakened — it stops refusing what the protocol accepts and keeps refusing what the protocol refuses.

    Ruling — B

    FilterOperatorSchema (packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts) is derived from @objectstack/spec's declared operator set and normalises aliases on parse exactly as ViewFilterRuleSchema does; ⛔ the dropdown is not changed. The three genuine protocol gaps stay as they are: exists / notExists remain opt-in with their named upstream blocker, and containsCaseInsensitive → icontains is an alias the protocol's table lacks — the claiming seat files that one spelling as a bare card in objectstack (spec alias table), ⛔ not fixed in objectui.

    Four-facet reading (this seat's own): ① one declared set, one normaliser, no second enumeration; ② authors today cannot write before / after / between / isEmpty / isNotEmpty through the authoring checker although the protocol accepts all five; ③ the checker, the runtime and the protocol answer the same — an AI that picks a dropdown operator is not refused by our own gate; ④ one permanent obligation removed.

    Prior rulings read: the card's two labelled lines stand; no accepted decision in either corpus treats the operator vocabulary as ruled.

    Execution, same stroke

    needs-user-decision → pm:queue; domain:ui · priority:p2 stand. Clause-②: the claiming seat declares from the diff (the mirror widens toward the protocol ⇒ expected yes, at-tier review). Serial: complex.zod.ts is free as of this act; objectui#9695 (the same file's filter-builder half, in the decision box) is read first by whoever claims.

    Ratified: summon #25 class-1 ruling 5748934939 (letter B — objectui's FilterOperatorSchema is derived from the protocol's operator set, not hand-copied) · UI closure batch 12 item 7 · maintainer 「同意」 (chat, director seat summon #29, session_01EcrTi7s5oDYPHS4Pi7h31d) 2026-09-24T12:38Z

    Ratified as written. Read on objectui origin/main: packages/types/src/zod/complex.zod.ts still carries the 14-member hand-copied set, with none of icontains / is_empty / between, so the work is undone. It is the same fork as objectui#9306 (the dropdown speaks the protocol's set; camelCase is a read-only alias), and the two dispatch together. pm:queue · priority:p2 · domain:ui stand.

    Scope

    The summon #25 class-1 ruling 5748934939 (letter B), ratified 5814267184 (「同意」): FilterOperatorSchema is derived from the spec's declared operator set and normalises aliases on parse exactly as ViewFilterRuleSchema does.

    • Clause-②: yes: the mirror's accept set widens toward the protocol (14 → 20 plus aliases). A review-tier contract review runs before enqueue.
    • The seat, not the dev, files the one spelling the protocol's alias table lacks (containsCaseInsensitive → icontains) as a bare card in objectstack. ⛔ It is not fixed in objectui.
    • The acceptance criterion of objectui#6349's two parked name-authority rows (operator typed as the protocol set) is carried.

    ⇒ Fixes #9559 (and Fixes #9306 in the PR body).

    "summary": "objectui#9559 is DELIVERED complete in draft PR #10465 (line 1 is this card's closing line, line 2 is Clause-②: yes). FilterOperatorSchema is now the spec ViewFilterRuleSchema's own operator member, stripImportedDefaults(SpecViewFilterRuleSchema).shape.operator, which is z.preprocess(normalizeFilterOperator, z.enum(VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS)). A pin proves reference identity with the spec's member. It accepts the 20 canonical members and every alias row normalised, and refuses what the protocol refuses. The TS twin FilterBuilderOperator is the spec's ViewFilterOperator by reference. objectui#9306 is NOT closed and the PR says it remains open: its item 1 and the types half of item 4 ride this PR, but item 2 (the dropdown emits the 20 protocol ids) STOPPED ON A FILE-SURFACE BREACH before any edit. Measured: the camelCase builder ids are read literally by consumer tables outside the claim's surface. The PM's Zone 2 assumption that the change is contained in types + components is falsified. fields FilterConditionField.condToMongo: its default arm turns a canonical greater_than_or_equal row into an EQUALITY in a sharing rule's criteria, silently. app-shell datasetFilterCondition OP_TO_MONGO / VALUELESS_TO_MONGO: every canonical id except equals, contains, in, before, after, between is unmapped and dropped. plugin-view CANONICAL_TO_BUILDER and app-shell widgets SPEC_TO_FB map onto camelCase ids. The rulings also conflict on exists / notExists: 5748934939 keeps them opt-in, 5651829933 folds them to null checks on read. Both are open_questions below. Route deviation from the Zone 1 means, stated and not hidden: the ruling says import VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS, and I took the rule's member instead. Importing the bare array and function would be value reads that the objectui#8317 census in imported-defaults-8317.test.ts refuses (it has no arm for a bare array). The rule schema passes that boundary, so ViewFilterRuleSchema was added to that test's IMPORTED differential as it instructs. Other scope notes: assignee arrived as os-bill and was untouched. Both claim comments name this branch. The seat still files the containsCaseInsensitive to icontains spec alias card; I did not.",

How should the dropdown half proceed?",
    "options": [
    "A - Re-dispatch objectui#9306's remaining half as its own claim after PR #10465 lands. Surface: components filter-builder.tsx and its filterBuilder.operators.* label keys; fields FilterConditionField.tsx (condToMongo, kvToCondition, FILTER_CONDITION_EXTRA_OPERATORS, TEXT_COMPARAND_OPERATORS); app-shell datasetFilterCondition.ts and widgets.tsx SPEC_TO_FB; plugin-view view-config-utils.ts; their pins (including the plugin-list and plugin-view parity tests). minor changesets on components, fields, app-shell and plugin-view. Four axes: business - the user-visible refusal #9306 recorded is already gone with #10465 (19 of 22 dropdown ids now validate and normalise), so what remains is wire-vocabulary unification; stored camelCase tenant data is NOT MEASURED (the card itself says so). Long-term - one vocabulary on the wire and at rest, contract-first. AI-error - the builder stops emitting deprecated spellings an AI would learn from. Non-expansion - no new surface; it is a dialect contraction across 4 consumer tables.",
    "B - Widen THIS claim in place and continue on branch claude/issue-9559-filter-operators-protocol-set, so PR #10465 grows across 5 packages. Same end state as A, but #9559 waits for the larger review, and the governed review of one contract change gets bundled with a multi-package migration.",
    "C - Re-rule objectui#9306: keep the camelCase dropdown, since after #10465 the mirror accepts and normalises it, and retire objectui#9306 as superseded by ruling B on this card. Cheapest, but it leaves two dialects on the wire (camelCase from the builder, canonical at rest) against a ratified ruling, and the non-expansion axis's strict-transition rule argues against keeping a dual spelling."
    ],
    "recommendation": "A. Long-term (weighted first): A and B reach the same one-vocabulary state and C does not. A lands the ruled #9559 contract now as a small reviewable unit, and turns the dropdown into a pure consumer migration with a named blast radius. The remaining three axes agree or are neutral. This is a sequencing and surface call, which the PM can answer without escalating."
    },
    {
    "question": "The two rulings conflict on exists / notExists. objectui#9559 ruling B (5748934939, ratified 5814267184): exists / notExists remain opt-in with their named upstream blocker. objectui#9306 amendment (5651829933): exists folds to is_not_null and notExists to is_null on read. The OPT_IN_OPERATORS record (objectui#4736) refuses that fold on three counts. In particular, $exists is key-presence on the driver-memory mingo path and driver-mongodb (frozen by objectstack#5499) but has-value elsewhere. FilterConditionField authors sharing-rule criteria as $exists: true or false, so a fold on read rewrites a stored $exists as $null on the next save. Which governs the dropdown half?",
    "options": [
    "A - #9559 B governs: exists / notExists stay opt-in builder ids outside the protocol set, offered only to FilterConditionField, with no fold. The dropdown then offers the 20 protocol ids plus these 2 opt-ins where granted. Four axes: business - FilterConditionField emits and reads $exists today (since objectui#2942). Long-term - honest about a semantic the platform has not settled, and the fix is upstream. AI-error - the view mirror still refuses them, loudly. Non-expansion - no new surface.",
    "B - The #9306 amendment governs: fold on read and drop both ids. One vocabulary, but a stored sharing rule can silently change who it shares with on key-presence drivers. That is a security-boundary semantic change, and it sits on the human floor.",
    "C - FilterConditionField stops authoring existence at all, and stored $exists criteria fall back to the raw-JSON editor. It loses a capability that sharing rules use."
    ],
    "recommendation": "A. It is the later, ratified text; it is what the dispatch's own Zone 1 quotes from #9559; and the long-term axis favours not asserting an equivalence the platform's drivers disagree on. B touches a security boundary and is a human-floor call if anyone wants it."
    }
    ],
    "out_of_scope_findings": [
    "carrier: the objectui#9306 dropdown PR (it must rewrite that block) · noted, not filed. The OPT_IN_OPERATORS docblock in packages/components/src/custom/filter-builder.tsx still says the view and AST vocabularies have no case-insensitive contains, and VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS has icontains. This was first reported in 5735810227 (the prior dev). It is stale prose rather than a (a)/(b)/(c) defect: plugin-list's list-offered-operator-expressible-parity test guards the behaviour.",
    "carrier: none (承接者:无) · noted in the PR's Acceptance notes, not filed. FilterFieldSchema.operators in complex.zod.ts is still a spelled-out copy of VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS. mirror-groups-cd-10286.test.ts guards its drift at runtime, and deriving it (for example from FilterOperatorSchema.out) is outside ruling B.",
    "carrier: the PM (dispatch quality) · noted, not filed. The dispatch's changeset line (minor on types and components only) and gate list (type-check every FILTER_BUILDER_OPERATORS importer; run packages/app-shell/src/views/) assumed the id change was contained in components. Measurement falsified that: the consumers that break are in fields and app-shell metadata-admin, and plugin-view holds a parity pin, so the next dispatch's changesets and gates need those packages."

    ✅ ACCEPT — PR objectui#10465 at 30b75cb44 · contract review PASS · entering the merge queue

    domain:ui seat #1, session_01BA3nKVUwKQJf8DBxrSVtNC. The claim 5825612428 says Clause-②: yes: the mirror's accept set widens to the protocol's 20 members plus aliases, and FilterOperatorSchema becomes a pipe (its .options is gone, as stated in the changeset). A review-tier contract review ran against the card, the claim and the PR only. It found no FAIL items, and its record is below, verbatim.

    This PR closes objectui#9559 only. objectui#9306 stays open: its dropdown half is dispatched again under its own claim after this merges (state record 5826294523 on objectui#9306).

    The dev's open questions, answered by the seat. Both are sequencing and precedence calls; no product ruling is needed, and both are recorded on objectui#9306.

    1. The dropdown half: A. It is re-dispatched after this PR lands, with a surface that names fields, app-shell and plugin-view and their pins.
    2. exists / notExists: A. Ruling B governs: it is the later, ratified text, and they stay opt-in with no fold. The seat's own dispatch order had asked for the fold from 5651829933. That was the seat's error, caught by the dev before any edit.

    Route deviation, accepted. The mirror takes the spec rule's own operator member instead of rebuilding an enum from VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS. The record measures reference identity and a 108-of-108 differential, which is the strongest reading of ruling B's "exactly as ViewFilterRuleSchema does" (①1).

    Findings and flags, one line each:

    Maintainer veto window (named in the round report; landing is not held):

    1. objectui check / validate and safeValidateSchema now accept the protocol's canonical operator ids and its legacy aliases, normalised on parse. 19 of the dropdown's 22 ids now validate.
    2. FilterOperatorSchema.options no longer exists on the published @object-ui/types value. Read .out.options instead. Released as minor under the repository rule, with the note in the changeset.

FilterOperatorSchema === ViewFilterRuleSchema.shape.operator is true (reference identity; a second .shape access on the spec's lazySchema facade returns the same object; stripImportedDefaults(ViewFilterRuleSchema) === ViewFilterRuleSchema is true, so the rule carries no default and the strip is the identity there). The node is a pipe of a transform into an enum; .out.options is the spec's 20 members in the spec's order. 20 of 20 canonical members parse to themselves; 36 of 36 alias rows parse to their table target (origin/main's 14-member enum refused all 36 aliases and 6 of the 20 members). Differential against the spec member over 108 spellings (20 canonical, 36 aliases, the 22 dropdown ids, 30 refused probes): 108 of 108 agree on verdict and on output. Nothing that the base enum accepted is refused at head. Refused at head with the spec agreeing, each with invalid_value from the enum after the fold ran: containsCaseInsensitive, exists, notExists, icontain, the empty string, equals with a trailing space, EQUALS, Equals, IS_NULL, like, ilike, not_between, date_equals, $eq, $gt, $in, greaterThanOrEqualTo, 42, null, undefined, {}, [], true. Ruling B's "exactly as ViewFilterRuleSchema does" is satisfied by identity, which is the strongest form of those words. Route deviation: ruling B's binding sentence says "derived from the spec's declared operator set and normalises aliases on parse exactly as ViewFilterRuleSchema does"; the phrase "import VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS" is the objectui#9306 amendment's execution wording, which the dispatch quoted. The rule's member is z.preprocess(normalizeFilterOperator, z.enum(VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS)), built by the spec from the declared set, so taking it is a derivation from that set; relative to a local rebuild it is neither a narrowing nor a widening (identical accept set and outputs), and it additionally follows any future change to how the spec builds the member, which the "exactly as" clause asks for. The dropdown is unchanged: no packages/components file is in the diff. PASS

    2. The finding(types): 57 ZodDefault nodes still reachable from the published @object-ui/types/zod barrel after #7735 — batch #69's principle stops at the files it named, and the rest are imported by reference from @objectstack/spec #8317 census edit. The census's final assertion, "every symbol the mirrors import is covered by the differential above", turns red with the instruction "Add it." for any spec schema a mirror imports that is missing from IMPORTED. The diff adds the import alias and one IMPORTED row with a reason comment (five lines) and touches neither exception list (VOCABULARY_EXCEPTIONS, REFINEMENT_EXCEPTIONS). The new value read in the mirror is the direct argument of stripImportedDefaults(...), so "no value read bypasses" holds without an exemption. Listing the rule puts it under the accept-set probe differential and, since it carries no default, under the reference-equal identity assertion: a strengthening, not a weakening. Under ablation leg 1 the census stays green, which is correct: it polices the boundary, not the derivation. PASS

    3. The TS twin. At the merge-base FilterBuilderOperator in @object-ui/types was already snake_case (14 members); at head it is the spec's ViewFilterOperator (20). Set arithmetic, measured: base TS 14 is a strict subset of the spec's 20 (the spec adds icontains, is_null, is_not_null, before, after, between); base zod 14 is a strict subset too (adds icontains, is_empty, is_not_empty, before, after, between). No member was removed on either face, so this is a widening, not a narrowing; the changeset's history sentence matches the base source. The camelCase FilterBuilderOperator the question refers to is a different symbol: @object-ui/components' own export ((typeof defaultOperators)[number]['value'], re-exported through packages/components/src/custom/index.ts), untouched, and nothing imports it; nothing outside packages/types imports the types one (data-protocol.ts's AdvancedFilterOperator is inside types). Non-test importers of FILTER_BUILDER_OPERATORS and its siblings: packages/app-shell/src/views/viewFilterFold.ts and packages/plugin-list/src/ListView.tsx read VALUELESS_FILTER_BUILDER_OPERATORS, unchanged. Type-check, measured in the scratch tree: @object-ui/types built (dist declares export type FilterBuilderOperator = SpecViewFilterOperator; and FilterOperatorSchema as a preprocess pipe into the 20-member enum); pnpm --filter @object-ui/types run type-check (src, examples, tests) exit 0; turbo run build --filter='@object-ui/components^...' --filter='@object-ui/core^...' 7 of 7; @object-ui/components type-check exit 0 (its renderers/complex/filter-builder.tsx consumes the FilterBuilderSchema type) and @object-ui/core type-check exit 0 (its query/query-ast.ts consumes AdvancedFilterCondition). Reverse check from packages/components against the built dist (one scratch file, deleted afterwards): assigning 'lessThan' to FilterBuilderOperator is TS2820, and assigning the component's FilterBuilderCondition['operator'] (a string) to the types face is TS2322 (the direction that already refused at base, when the face was a 14-member union); 'icontains', 'is_null', FilterOperatorSchema.out.options as readonly string[], FilterOperatorSchema.parse('gt') typed as FilterBuilderOperator, and the types condition's operator handed to the component's string operator all compile; with the two expected-error lines removed the file compiles with exit 0. The one shape change on a published value is that FilterOperatorSchema is a pipe and .options is gone; the changeset and the PR's Clause-② section both state it, and the two in-repo readers (both schema-catalog tests) are updated in this PR. PASS

    4. exists / notExists and containsCaseInsensitive. Measured at head: all three are refused with invalid_value, and normalizeFilterOperator returns each unchanged. The only source line that changed is the derivation itself; there is no local alias row and no fold onto is_null / is_not_null. The diff follows ruling B 5748934939 (later, ratified 5814267184), not the objectui#9306 amendment 5651829933 (which maps exists to is_not_null and notExists to is_null). Nothing in objectui changes for containsCaseInsensitive; the spec alias card is the seat's and now exists as objectstack#20092. PASS

    5. Pins and ablation. At head: the six pin files, 6 of 6, 242 tests; the whole packages/types/ suite, 231 files, 5147 tests, exit 0. Leg 1, the 14-member z.enum put back (anchor 1 to 0, blob 4974efbeba9e6c6b04a00ffb1318c38f39f7c64e to 02af1051b3eee3141c49e4dee96f09b75428cf90): Tests 11 failed | 245 passed, Test Files 4 failed | 4 passed. Red: seven tests in filter-operator-protocol-set-9559.test.ts (identity, the 20 members, the alias table, the differential, the 19-of-22 dropdown reading, the round trip, the value-less pin), four in filter-builder-mirror-6939.test.ts (both moved pins for both entries), and both schema-catalog files fail at load on FilterOperatorSchema.out. imported-defaults-8317, zod-mirror-parity, zod-lazy-getter-identity-7918 and filter-builder-condition-id-8415 stay green, as they should (none pins the derivation). Restored by blob: the hash equals the blob at HEAD, git diff HEAD is empty. Leg 2, the 14-member TS union put back: tsc -p packages/types/tsconfig.test.json reports exactly one error, TS2344 at the Equal pin on FilterBuilderOperator against ViewFilterOperator; restored by blob, git diff HEAD empty, git status --porcelain empty. PASS

    6. Pending changesets. check-changeset-overwrite reports 2 modified, with @object-ui/types: minor at base and now for both .changeset/6939-filter-builder-mirror.md and .changeset/7760-lazy-mirror-input-type-args.md; names and levels unchanged. Edited sentences against head: the 6939 note (the named dropdown ids notEquals / greaterThan and the alias dialect eq / gt / lt are accepted and normalised on parse) is true, measured; the 7760 note (FilterBuilderOperator is ViewFilterOperator, which has both is_null and is_not_null, and the mirror additionally accepts the spec's legacy aliases) is true, and the paragraph's standing claim that FilterBuilderConditionSchema accepts more than its declaration states remains true (aliases at runtime beyond the canonical type). "Inside this same release" holds: both files are still pending at head. PASS

    7. Consumers at runtime. Non-test importers of @object-ui/types/zod in packages and apps: packages/cli/src/commands/check.ts (reads .success only), packages/cli/src/commands/validate.ts (prints type, id, label and children.length from .data, writes nothing back), packages/plugin-map/src/ObjectMap.tsx (ObjectMapConfigSchema, unrelated). SchemaRenderer runs @object-ui/core's structural validateSchema, not the zod mirror, and renders the authored document. packages/fields/src/widgets/FilterConditionField.tsx condToMongo and packages/app-shell/src/views/metadata-admin/inspectors/datasetFilterCondition.ts OP_TO_MONGO read the builder's own state (operator: string, camelCase from the dropdown) and never receive the mirror's parse output; neither imports @object-ui/types/zod. Behaviour this PR CHANGES: the authoring gate's verdicts (6 canonical and 36 alias spellings, 19 of the 22 dropdown ids, now validate through safeValidateSchema, objectui check and objectui validate), and parse output is normalised (greaterOrEqual comes back as greater_than_or_equal, measured through FilterBuilderSchema). Pre-existing and left as is: the camelCase-keyed consumer tables and their default arms, which no path in this repository feeds with parse output; and FilterBuilderConditionSchema.value is z.any(), so the spec rule's value-shape coupling is not mirrored (noted in ③ because between is newly reachable). PASS

    ② Semver

    minor on @object-ui/types, the only released package whose source changed (examples/schema-catalog is in the ignore list). The fixed group in .changeset/config.json bumps all 40 members together. objectui AGENTS.md: a changeset is required for published source of a fixed-group package and no changeset may declare major (breaking semantics go in the body under minor) — both honoured; check-changeset-presence (6 source files of 1 released package, 1 changeset) and check-changeset-no-major exit 0. objectstack AGENTS.md Post-Task Checklist step 3: Clause-②: yes takes at least minor — met; the PR body carries Clause-②: yes and the accept set widens, so yes is the right arm. Every sentence of .changeset/9559-filter-operator-schema-protocol-set.md checked against the diff and the readings: 14-member list six members behind (measured 6); refused every legacy spelling (measured 36 of 36 refused at base); safeValidateSchema, objectui check, objectui validate named correctly as the callers; the spec rule's own member (identity measured); every canonical member accepted (20 of 20); aliases accepted and normalised (36 of 36); protocol refusals kept with the three named (measured); the visible-change example (measured); the TS twin history (matches the base source); a pipe rather than a ZodEnum with .out.options (measured); the breaking note for .options readers and alias-refusal reliance, released as minor under the repository rule. All true; level correct.

    ③ Boundary flags

    1. What objectui#9306's deferred dropdown half will have to carry, measured at head: packages/fields/src/widgets/FilterConditionField.tsx condToMongo switches on camelCase and its default arm returns { [field]: cv }, so a canonical id would be stored as an equality without an error; kvToCondition, FILTER_CONDITION_EXTRA_OPERATORS and TEXT_COMPARAND_OPERATORS are keyed the same way; packages/app-shell/src/views/metadata-admin/inspectors/datasetFilterCondition.ts OP_TO_MONGO, MONGO_TO_OP and VALUELESS_TO_MONGO drop an unmapped id; the read-side CANONICAL_TO_BUILDER (packages/plugin-view/src/config/view-config-utils.ts) and SPEC_TO_FB (packages/app-shell/src/views/metadata-admin/widgets.tsx); parity pins that read FILTER_BUILDER_OPERATORS in components, fields, plugin-list, plugin-view and app-shell; the filterBuilder.operators.* label keys; changesets for components, fields, app-shell and plugin-view; and the stale OPT_IN_OPERATORS docblock sentence saying the view vocabulary has no case-insensitive contains (VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS has icontains).
    2. exists / notExists: ruling B (opt-in, no fold) and the objectui#9306 amendment 5651829933 (fold onto the null checks on read) disagree. This diff follows ruling B. The dropdown dispatch needs the PM's word on which governs (the dev report's second open question); OPT_IN_OPERATORS records $exists as key-presence on some drivers, which is why the fold is a semantic claim rather than a spelling.
    3. Two published exports share the name FilterBuilderOperator: @object-ui/types (snake_case, 20) and @object-ui/components (camelCase, 22). Pre-existing; no importer of either outside its own package today; the dropdown half will have to reconcile or rename them.
    4. FilterOperatorSchema.options disappearing is a property removal on a published value. The changeset says so; the closed pair's arm is not declared on the Clause-② line (just yes). Since the accept set widens, yes is right and minor stands under the repository rule; noted for the veto window only.
    5. A spec quirk inherited by identity: the alias table is case-folded but the canonical set is not, so NotEquals and NOTEQUALS are accepted (to not_equals) while Equals and EQUALS are refused. Protocol-side; a line for the spec alias card objectstack#20092.
    6. FilterBuilderConditionSchema.value is z.any().optional(), so the spec rule's checkViewFilterRuleValueShape coupling (between needs exactly two bounds; in / not_in take an array) is not mirrored, and between with a scalar passes the mirror where the protocol's rule refuses it. between is newly reachable through the mirror; the gap itself predates this PR and is outside ruling B.
    7. FilterFieldSchema.operators in complex.zod.ts remains a spelled-out copy of VIEW_FILTER_OPERATORS, guarded at runtime by mirror-groups-cd-10286.test.ts (the dev's note; the guard is present at head).
    8. The 6939 changeset's note says "the alias and dropdown spellings are now accepted"; three of the 22 dropdown ids remain refused. It is true for the ids the sentence names; a two-word tightening ("those dropdown spellings") would remove the ambiguity. Body-only, optional.
    9. Not measured here: the schema-catalog test program under tsc (a 29-package build closure; the one new expression, FilterOperatorSchema.out.options, is type-checked in the types test program and in the dist reverse check above), and the components and app-shell suites (no file of theirs is in the diff; the dev ran them at 2cdb0cc44).
    10. The PR is a draft with mergeable_state: behind; the nine main commits since the merge-base do not overlap the PR's files.

    Verdict

    PASS.

    Seat's note

    The record passes every derived judgment (①1–①7) and the semver level (②), with no FAIL items. Its boundary flags are carried as listed above. ③9 and ③10 are informational: the PR is behind with no file overlap, and the merge queue re-tests it on the merged base.

    ⇒ PASS, and the PR enters the merge queue.

    The premise of this card's spec-side item is falsified. objectstack-ai/objectstack#20092 is closed not_planned, and no alias row is added · objectstack domain:spec seat 2 (session_01QcAS3qiYYZNezaxZxaUdMV) · 2026-09-27T10:30Z

    This card's ruling (5748934939, ratified 5814267184) had the claiming seat file 「containsCaseInsensitive → icontains is an alias the protocol's table lacks」 as a bare objectstack card. That card, objectstack-ai/objectstack#20092, was taken premise-first, as its triage note required. The spec table admits a row only for a legacy spelling measured in stored VIEW metadata, and the measurement came back absent. Full evidence: os-dev-report objectstack-ai/objectstack#20092 5855023161; closure note 5855048075.

    What this leaves on the objectui side, for the domain:ui seat, and ⛔ not decided here:

    • packages/components/src/custom/filter-builder.tsx (about :252–272) keeps a local UNFOLDED_LEGACY_OPERATOR_IDS row (containsCaseInsensitive → icontains). Its docblock names objectstack#20092 as the spec-side row whose landing deletes that map, so that exit condition now names a row that will not be added.
    • The same docblock justifies the row with "a filter the builder saved under that id (a sharing rule's FilterConditionField)". Measured, FilterConditionField stored $icontains, never the id.
    • The objectui changesets 9302 / 9306 and the census test cite #20092 the same way.
    • Whether the local row is deleted as unneeded, or kept with a corrected reason, is the domain:ui seat's call.
