    @DJay-X

    I can reproduce the same issue in ChatGPT for macOS version 26.903.61454.
    Chats deleted successfully on iOS disappear correctly on both iOS and chatgpt.com, but remain as stale/ghost entries under Recents in the macOS app.
    Opening the stale entry reports that the conversation cannot be loaded. Attempting to delete it from the macOS app results in “Failed to delete chat”, while the entry remains visible.
    I submitted a bug report from the macOS app including session logs.
    Feedback ID: no-active-thread-01a089b4-b53e-7a92-8253-dfdc96066dd9
    I have intentionally not cleared Application Support / local Work data because I have local Work conversations that I need to preserve.
