codex-cli 0.47.0

What subscription do you have?

Plus

Which model were you using?

n/a

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 24.6.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

when I authenticate codex cli shows my account as being on the Free tier, when in fact I am a Plus account:

consequently I am unable to use the tool, as I am presented with this error message:

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Login and then send a prompt

What is the expected behavior?

I can send prompts and interact with the service :)

This issue is the same for me using the vscode extension

    I'm having a similar issue on Codex CLI v0.47.0. Pro account expired, I renewed it. Have run codex logout then codex login multiple times.

    /status shows my account is (Pro) but when I attempt to send a message, I get:

    To use Codex with your ChatGPT plan, upgrade to Plus: https://openai.com/chatgpt/pricing.

    edit: Manually installed v0.48.0-alpha.1 as well as v0.46.0 and the issue is present in both.

    It can take ~15 minutes to propagate, do you still see the error @tayiorbeii ?

    Did you upgrade recently?

    This is my first time trying out codex cli. I installed using 'brew install'

    Do you see your plus subscription when you go to https://chatgpt.com/#settings/Account?

    Yes I do

    Is it fixed if you codex logout and then codex login?

    No, it still shows me on the free tier
