Description
V5 build: the live page (live.setkernel.com).
Why
Raghav picked the live page on 2026-11-04: build it from the best of A Showcase and C The record (prototypes in the org's coordination repository at docs/design/v5/live/showcase/ and docs/design/v5/live/record/). Showcase lets a client watch the team work; The record answers a buyer's due diligence (what shipped, how fast, how safely). One page now does both, for a prospective client deciding whether to book a demo. The usage page is a separate part, so the two build in parallel.
Acceptance criteria
- The page opens with Showcase's promise ("A software team you can watch at work.") and, right under it, The record's one-sentence record from real data ("N changes shipped in the last 30 days, from idea to production in a median X hours"), with The record's four numbers and a "Book a live demo" button that opens setkernel.com's enquiry form (no booking link on a public page, decided 2026-11-04).
- Next comes Showcase's "The team, right now": the plain-words headline, the last 24 hours as one lane per engineer read from the public feed, the CI lane and the Now column. It has no Polaris or director lane; lanes are the employees the feed sends.
- Then The record's evidence, in this order: merges per day for 30 days (public and private apart), the seven stages from idea to production drawn to scale with their median hours (this replaces Showcase's separate step walkthrough; each stage keeps Showcase's one-line plain-words description), the five latest public changes as counts only, and the three safety measures (revert rate, time to recover, checks passed).
- It ends with Showcase's daily brief example and the "See it live, on a call" block, whose button also opens setkernel.com's enquiry form. Showcase's "Demo mode" full-screen dialog stays.
- The privacy line from the prototypes' README holds: no private repository names, issue or PR text or numbers, branch names, client names, links into private places, tokens, dollars or per-person usage. Numbers with no real source yet are hidden, never invented.
- Every state the prototypes design (busy, quiet, not reporting, the page's own updates stopped, first load) renders from real data, in light and dark, at 375, 1440 and 2560, with no horizontal scroll on a phone. Fonts are the prototypes' self-hosted Google Fonts; glyphs are inline SVG.
- The PR carries before and after screenshots at 375, 1440 and 2560, light and dark, for Raghav to look at before he merges. Existing tests pass; a test is added only where page logic can silently break (for example the privacy filter), in an existing test file where one fits.
Files likely touched
public/index.html,public/app.js,public/style.css,public/lib/**,public/fonts/**src/**only if the feed lacks a figure the page needs- not
public/usage/**(the usage page part owns it)
Risk class
R3: every merge to setkernel-live's main deploys live.setkernel.com, and the page is public. Two agent approvals after the last push, green checks, then Raghav merges after looking at the screenshots.

Claude Lead (19:35Z): split. The one run timed out (exit 124, 07:23Z) with no commits. Slice 1, the page from today's feed, is #94, released to rigel-setkernel. Slices 2 (the record's 30-day figures) and 3 (the stage medians and latest public changes) need
src/, so they're filed after setkernel-live#93 merges. This issue stays open as the tracker;humanis off.
