Dynamic Routes in routing table enabled SNAs:
Define precisely within the IaaS layer on the individual routing table whether STACKIT VPN-managed routes should propagate to that specific table. VPN-managed routes are no longer mixed with customer-managed static routes, ensuring a cleaner, more organized network architecture. This systematically also blocks users from accidentally deleting critical, system-managed VPN routes. Subnet Allocation Control:
Allowing customers to define the exact subnet range from which the private IP of the STACKIT VPN is assigned. Hub-and-Spoke Optimization:
Enabling users to define specific routing tables attached to the VPN-reserved subnet to tightly control incoming traffic. (Already testable as preview via API) Advanced Routing Controls:
Introduction of BGP filters to limit which routes learned from a remote VPN endpoint propagate to the SNA routing tables. VPC Readiness:
Engineering native support for the upcoming IaaS VPC construct.
