Codex Desktop Plugins page renders broken on Intel Mac #20105
The Codex Desktop Plugins page renders incorrectly on Intel Mac. Text and plugin cards are clipped/misaligned, with large blank areas and partial letters visible. This happens on the latest Codex Desktop version available to me.
Steps to Reproduce
Launch Codex Desktop on Intel Mac.
Open the Plugins page.
Observe the plugin list/cards area.
Expected Behavior
The Plugins page should render plugin cards and text normally.
Actual Behavior
The Plugins page layout is corrupted: text/card layers appear horizontally displaced, partial letters are visible, and cards/rows are clipped or misaligned.
Electron may have compatibility issues with Intel integrated graphics on Intel-based MacBooks, which can lead to rendering glitches or performance problems.
On macOS, you can force the application to use the discrete GPU to work around this issue. For example:
open -a "Codex" --args --force_high_performance_gpu
Most Chrome/Electron-based applications can be launched this way, which helps avoid rendering errors or lag caused by Intel integrated graphics.

Same root cause as #18341: the Plugins page uses CSS backdrop-filter, and the Intel HD/UHD GPU + macOS compositor combo fails the IOSurface transfer those filters require. Detailed analysis in #23458.
